Believe it or not, Dublin can be tons of fun for those of us on a strict budget!

If you’re quietly sitting out the recession have I got news for you. Now is the time to visit Ireland. I mean this week, today, immediately. You will simply not believe the bargain prices on offer.

Have a look at the outrageous Welcome to Dublin Citypack, from Railtours Ireland, for example. It’s a new fully-inclusive Dublin accommodation and activity package that even includes a host that will meet and greet you right off your flight at Dublin airport (taking all the worry away for first-time visitors).

The all-in price also includes return transfers to and from your city centre Hotel (you’ll receive 2 nights at a 3-star hotel in the city center). You’ll also get a Dublin Bus city tour hop-on and off ticket to bring you to where the action is and the price for all this is €99 ($144) per person sharing. You read that right. It’s the deal of the new decade.

This tour itself has been carefully designed to give you the freedom to explore and experience the history and culture of Dublin at your own leisure (the ideal way to explore any major city).

The whole trip has been planned by Irish travel professionals who have first hand knowledge of the city and what visitors are looking for. You can take the well worn tourist route and check out all the main Dublin attractions including Dublin Zoo and Trinity College (home of the ancient and utterly beautiful Book of Kells) or you can have in the know Dublin tour guides show you edgier parts of the city as only a native can. Your 24-hour ticket allows you to hop on and off at all the hotspots as often as you wish.

The tour operates daily from 9.30 AM and can be joined at any of 23 stops, each conveniently located near one of the most popular Dublin attractions. For example, you can join outside Trinity College, leave at the Guinness Storehouse (after sampling a free pint, of course!) and then re-join them later at your lesiure.

You could even start your Dublin tour in the afternoon and come back to see more the following morning. To enhance your enjoyment the Citypack organizers have arranged discounts for you at a selection of the most popular attractions en route.

To book your Welcome to Dublin Citypack at the special price listed here you will need to email them at info@railtoursireland.com Yes it’s a sweetheart deal, and no it won’t last, so get on it. Tell them you read about it in Irish Central. Now, what are you waiting for? Just book it!
