It's tackier than Jersey Shore but boy is it ever a hit. Irish 'reality' show Tallafornia won top ratings on its first outing and now fame seekers are lining up around the block to appear on the second season of the controversial TV3 show.

The Saw Doctors may hail from the west of Ireland but they are certainly no strangers to the Jersey Shore. The group has become something of a fixture at Asbury Park’s legendary Stone Pony in recent years and the quintet seemed very much at home kicking off St. Patrick’s Day weekend Thursday night in front of an adoring crowd just a stone’s throw from the “Irish Riviera.”

Ireland’s version of Jersey Shore is already a hit – with its unique Tallaght blend of sex and drugs and rock’n’roll.

Patrick "The Punisher" Hyland expects to kick off his American dream in January before earning some major titles in 2012. The undefeated Dublin featherweight relocated to New York in September having secured a lucrative deal with Team Snooki, a new U.S. promotional outfit figure headed by Jersey Shore sensation Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

Unbeaten featherweight Patrick Hyland (24-0) has moved to Marlboro, New York, to pursue his world title dreams after signing a promotional contract with Final Round Promotions and Nicole Polizzi, aka Jersey Shore’s Snooki.

Jersey Shore fever has officially spread outside the US borders all the way to Ireland! According to TV3, this fall they will be premiering a new show following "four hot West Dublin boys and four fabulous West Dublin girls” living together in Tallaght, an area in southwest Dublin, for a month.
