Colin Farrell doesn’t like guns. In fact he actually hates even holding them he says, which is ironic because as he admits himself he often ends up doing just that in his films. 

An American travel website poll has found that Prince Harry is considered sexier by American women than Colin Farrell.

MissTravel conducted a poll among its American readers to find out which personalities were top of their list when it comes to sexiest nationality.

Colin Farrell’s movie Dead Man Down just opened in the U.K., and though it was a pretty colossal failure over here in March with just under $11 million in earnings, maybe it’ll pick up a few more bucks across the ocean to make that number a bit more respectable.

Colin Farrell and Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain are set to film ‘Miss Julie,’ a film adapted from a once banned story of a romantic relationship between an Anglo-Irish aristocrat’s daughter and her father’s valet.  Farrell is playing the valet in the film shooting in Co Fermanagh throughout April.  ‘Miss Julie’ has a budget of 4.5 million euros and will shoot in Castle Coole. 

Colin Farrell won’t find much cheer in his latest box-office result as Dead Man Down, the action film released earlier this month that co-stars Noomi Rapace, is pretty much dead as a doornail, with little more than $10 million earned on a budget of $30 million-plus.

The film adaptation of Swedish playwright August Strindberg’s Miss Julie is to be filmed in Castle Coole, Fermanagh. Due for release in 2014, the film will star Colin Farrell, Jessica Chastain and Samantha Morton.
