The United States Supreme Court has denied an appeal that sought to keep interviews with former IRA members being turned over to the Northern Irish  police.

A Dublin businessman jailed for failing to pay tax on imported garlic will appeal his sentence on Monday.

A Florida court has ruled that Casey Anthony must start her yearlong probation for check fraud by the end of this week. Anthony, who was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, and has now been dubbed “America’s most hated woman”, lost her appeal against the ruling and must now present herself to the local probation office this week.
