Ireland’s Joey Cabray and Rachel Walker were recently given deals to join Stephen Farrelly, known to fans as Sheamus, as the Irish presence in the WWE.

The Irish Sun reports Cabray and Walker will hope to make their fellow countryman, former heavyweight champion, Sheamus, proud as the newest members of the WWE. The pair will first be sent to Florida for evaluation and development before a chance at the main events. 

A Dubliner is the new world heavyweight champion after a swift 18 second victory at WrestleMania 28 in Sun Stadium in Miami, Florida on Sunday night.

WWE’s Irish superstar Sheamus is more than holding his own in the world’s biggest sports entertainment company, and on Sunday he’s ready for the fight of his life at the WWE’s signature live event, Wrestlemania XVIII.  DEBBIE McGOLDRICK catches up with Sheamus to talk strategy.

Dublin-born wrestling star Sheamus claimed victory in this weekend’s Pay-Per-View event ‘Royal Rumble.’ The high profile wrestler defeated the highly tipped Chris Jericho to win the event that will send him to Wrestlemania 2012 in April.

Sheamus, the first Irish born WWE champion, visited and spoke with late-night host Jimmy Fallon on Friday night. The WWE star talked about his life as a WWE profressional, growing up in Ireland, as well as his humorous beginnings as an IT specialist.

He's the current WWE King of the Ring and the newly crowned U.S. Champion, but Irish-born WWE superstar Sheamus continues to be a man on a mission.

WWE action from Chicago last night saw Randy Orton become the new WWE Champion over Sheamus, John Cena, Edge, Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett. It's Orton’s sixth championship with WWE.

With his failed bout with Sheamus in Los Angeles still smarting, Randy Orton (The Viper) will probably be determined to take a bite of the reigning World Wrestling Entertainment champion, Sheamus.

His reign as WWE champion wasn’t as long as he would have liked, but Irish pro wrestling superstar Sheamus is battling on all the way to Wrestlemania at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona this Sunday, March 28, where he’ll face off against the redoubtable legend Triple H in one of the pay-per-view event’s main matches.

After retaining his WWE title, Irishman Sheamus has John Cena's number, it seems, when it comes to the WWE story line for 2010. Is this the end of Cena as champ?

Sheamus defeated Mark Henry last night to retain his WWE title – no surprise there – but could a fight against Hulk Hogan AKA Terry Bollea be in the offing?

“I told you when we spoke last week that I’d be the new WWE champion, and I was right,” exclaimed the newly crowned Sheamus to the Irish Voice on Tuesday afternoon during a phone interview.

A good week just got a whole lot better for Sheamus when he scooped up the slammy for WWE's Breakout Star of the Year on the televised awards ceremony on Monday night.

Sheamus is here to stay – trust me.

Sheamus is the new WWE wrestling champion in a huge upset defeating champion John Cena as he had promised to do.
