Memorial Day weekend in Miami Beach isn’t the most attractive place to be.
 
Apparently the Urban Beach Week is the largest Urban Festival in the world that caters toward the Hip Hop Generation from 23 and over. The participants make the annual trek to South Beach for 4 days full of fun, food, festivities, entertainment, music and more.
 
I am all for the party but girls put on some clothes!!!
 
Do not wear a bikini if you weigh 350lbs and do not walk down the street in said bikini drinking a 24oz slurpy at 7am on a Saturday morning when I am on my way to work and I have to stop for you and your huge masses at a red light.
 
It’s enough to put a man off his drink {please note I do not drink and drive, especially at 7am on a Saturday morning}
 
This year it is estimated that 400,000 people will attend. God save us.
 
What happens at the event?
 
There will be music, fashion, lots of fat girls in some sort of state of undress, DJ’s and rappers {see I didn’t put rappers under music, to me it’s more like poetry, albeit annoying} the actual event occurs on three streets along the popular South Beach Art Deco District. The hotels, clubs, shops, concerts and etc. all take place in one area so there isn't a need to drive anywhere to get to your destination although there will be cars jumping up and down all weekend blasting unlikable music . There are taxis within distance who can take you to any short distance, but all the taxi drivers are in Orlando for the weekend.
 
Oh, and about 3000 people will be arrested it will cost the City of Miami millions of dollars to clean up and about 40 people will get killed. Happy Days.
