Oscar winner Glen Hansard will guest star on NBC’s “Parenthood” as himself. Dubliner Hansard, who starred in “Once”,  will sing two songs on the NBC show.

Once, the luminous new Broadway musical based on the love story between a Czech flower seller and an Irish street musician in Dublin, received a remarkable 11 Tony Award nominations on Tuesday, making the touching new show the one with the most nominations this year.

The new musical “Once,” inspired by the 2006 Dublin-set Indie film, will now premiere off-Broadway in November, and not on Broadway as was previously announced.

Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, who are the core members of The Swell Season, have vowed to complete their tour despite witnessing a suicide at their gig at Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California on Thursday night.
