Dayne Crist announced on Thursday that he would be attending Kansas next year to play under the former Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis. The announcement comes after much speculation regarding where Crist would play his final season.

For the first time since fall camp in the 2007 season there was a battle this year for the position of quarterback on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish team. Thankfully second-year coach Brian Kelly put us out of our misery this week choosing Dayne Crist over Everett Golson, Andrew Hendrix and Tommy Rees.
