Based on Bank of America's stock performance, Brian Moynihan has been ranked as the worst big bank CEO in the United States. That's even after the 40 percent rally in the bank's shares this year.

Dublin man Alan Nolan, has pleaded guilty to holding up and robbing two banks in New Jersey in 2007 and 2010. On the day of the second bank robbery, he dropped his child at day care before robbing the bank and picked the child up afterwards.

Warren Buffett the billionaire investor invested $5 billion in Bank of America this week to help prop up the ailing bank. Buffett's cash injection quickly led to the share prices in banks around the world rising yesterday.

The Irish employees at a division of Bank of America in Ireland discovered their jobs were at risk in a time honored fashion: via the grapevine from the US.

Bank of America has announced its intention to pull out of the Irish and UK credit card market. The decision will mean a 700 job loss in County Leitrim, one of Ireland's poorest counties, unless a new buyer is found.
