It is nearly five hours until kickoff and I am listening to 'The End' by The Doors.
Morrison's haunting tune serves as a fitting soundtrack for the final season of the Charlie Weis Experiment.
Though it may be sacrilege to write given his University of Michigan background, and he may not be quite ready for the Notre Dame job, Jim Harbaugh would be an ideal candidate had I the option to choose the next head coach.
He's changed the culture of Stanford Football in just three seasons. If Notre Dame is unable to land Meyer, which I think will be the case, or Stoops, I'd be on the horn to Palo Alto.
On the rumor front, it appears likely that the next head coach will be either Bob Stoops or Brian Kelly.
