Cardiff 15 v 16 Munster
Munster escaped Wales this evening with the narrowest of victories thanks to a late penalty from fly half Ronan O'Gara. O'Gara had missed four previous attempts but his 61st minute effort split the posts before Munster held out to win the game.
Captain Paul O'Connell gave the Munster team a boost with his first Magners League start of the season, which resulted in the team's first victory in their past five trips to Wales.
Back row forward James Coughlin scored the only try of the game in the first half after a counter attack from the impressive Keith Earls.
Leigh Halfpenny kicked four penalties in reply for the home side, while Dan parks added a drop goal but it wasn't enough to stop the Irish side going home with the points.Glasgow Warriors 19-22 Ulster
Ulster once again have Ruan Pienaar to thank for their win on Friday night. Pienaar scored all 22 points in the team's victory in Scotland.
Pienaar scored a try before adding the conversion and 5 penalties to lift the team to a three point victory.
The two teams traded penalties in the first half before Ruaridh Jackson missed two crucial penalties at the start of the second. However it was a sign of Ulster's creaking defense as a blocked clearance led to the first try of the match for Glasgow replacement Ryan Grant.
Glasgow could not take advantage of scoring the first try in the match as they immediately gave Pienaar another chance to score from the restart. The fly half obliged before Rory Best came off the bench to breath new life into the tiring team. Unfortunately Best did little to help the cause, landing in the sin bin within minutes of coming on. In spite of that Pienaar created his own opportunity to score a leveling try before giving his team the lead in the dying moments. A tense finish saw Glasgow come back with a penalty of their own before the South African stole the show with late heroics from a long range penalty.www.twitter.com/ICsportscentral
