Uruguay defeated Ireland by 3-2 in a friendly international in Dublin on Tuesday night.
Uruguay scored after 12 minutes but Shane Long, Ireland's best player responded after 15.
Uruguay scored two more and were looking like easy winners at half time.
However, a penalty from Fahey saw Ireland back in the game but they could never come up with the tie score.
