Rex Ryan
Rex Ryan broke down when addressing his New York Jets players after their disappointing season but placed the blame for his blubber on his Irish heritage

“I’m Irish. So what do you want?. “It’s hurtful. I’m extremely prideful. I want to be the best. I want to win. Sometimes it comes out like that.”

Ryan has lots to cry about. After leading his team to two successive conference finals the Jets bombed this year, riven by personal feuds and non performing stars

An arrogant blowhard who constantly overstates his team's abilities and accomplishments - he's a Kerryman for sure.
nothing wrong with showing emotion,[not to much for a man]as for saying he,s not irish?if his parents ,were his grandparents were,he is,if its a feeling for the old country,he is,to be irish and sneer at a fellow irish man and call him a plastic paddy just because his parents or grand parents were forced to emigrate douse not make him less irish,in some cases he is more irish, with a greater knowledge of his countries history, music, tradition, language than some who were born there.who incidently can show an astonishing ignorance of their own country despite having the advantage of being born there..
It was such a pleasure seeing my beloved Dolphins (see, not all Irish are Patriots fans)knock him and his sorry team's ass out of the playoffs....
This fat b astard calling himself Irish is like Obamma saying he is Irish.
I wonder how long it will take the Irish (the real ones, the ones from Ireland) to criticize another Irish-American for saying he is "Irish". It is an American cultural thing that obviously doesn't translate well over there, i.e., an Italian-American is "Italian", etc. WE'RE NOT MEANT TO BE TAKEN SO LITERALLY so stop flattering yourselves! Bob40: "Cryin Ryan" ... I like that! Go Giants.
He's a blowhard and now he's a cry baby, he's also a lousy couch. Go Pats.
Oh, feel free to correct my spelling. :)
So now instead of beeing known as a blowhard he'll be known as cryin Ryan also.
