I read where there were over 40,000 people, paying I guess an average of $75 per head, at that game in Dublin. How can we take talk of an Irish economy in crisis seriously? 40, 000 go to watch one of the worst teams in the word? And pay 75 bucks and upwards? Is there any other country in the world where Andorra playing the national selection would attract 40K? No way. The folks who went to that game in Dublin have more money than sense.

In comparison to Scotland, this was a very impressive result. Using similar stats as Sean - Scotland played a country with a population of 35,000. There were more Scotsmen in Hampden, than the population of Liechtenstein. Scotland won with a goal in the NINETY-SEVENTH minute.
