Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor was the hero as he stopped an 82nd minute penalty kick in their vital game against Celtic.
The 0-0 draw left Celtic one point behind with five games to play with a game in hand and are favorites to win yet another Scottish title.
The draw will suit Celtic then, but they will surely regret Gerogios Samaras's miss from the penalty spot which would have made them hot favorites for the title.
Despite a backdrop of mounting tensions after parcel bombs were sent to Celtic coach Neil Lennon an other leading figures in the club, the game went off without incident.

I didn't know much about Scot soccer until the adverse publicity. It shows one how much interaction there is between sport and politics. There is a whole lot of anger still simmering over Mary, Queen of Scots. Glascow is where the anger appears to be.

brother's in canada at the moment, drinking in a sports bar filled with Rangers supporters, lot of good humoured banter with him & his 5 mates (only ones in green), he said it was a good game, plenty of chances, could have gone either way.
I was at tannadice watching us win on saturday, we have left it too late to catch Hearts, last season took alot out of us, but the second half of the season has well been worth the cost of flying to scotland to see the arabs in action.
Might even dig out my 'lawrence of arabia' kit out for the last game of the season.

All in all a fair result.Great game and both sides showed the world that they can rise to the occasion without all the garbage that has been swirling these games recently.Watched the game at the Cleveland Celtic supporters club which is located in a great Irish bar P.J. MCINTYRE'S.
