Sharing time with family and friends at special events means more than ever with all that people. Be a part of the Holiday Spirit stirring on all levels of the Irish Cultural Centre of New England in Canton:
-ICC Set Dancing for Adults, every Monday in December except Christmas Eve from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. $5 donation to the ICC at the door. No partner necessary.
-The stunning Art Exhibit “Irish Faces and Places” by Irish-born artist Vincent Crotty continues in the ICC Pub during pub hours through December.
-Friday ICCComhaltas Session led by John Kearney in the McGettigan Room starting at 7 p.m.
-Saturday ICC Session Nights led by Stuart Peak and Sean Kane in the ICC Pub starting at 8:30 p.m.
-Genealogy 101 ICCNE Library workshop on Saturday, December 8th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Presented by Michael Brophy. Catholic records and resources will be emphasized. $20 for ICCNE members; $25 for non-members. This is a great opportunity to begin your ancestral research and provides the same materials as offered at the October 13th workshop.
-ICC Canton Céilí, Sunday, December 9th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. $10 per person. Enjoy traditional dances and live Irish music. No partner necessary.
-Live Blues with Space Cakes in the ICC Pub, Sunday, December 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. Members of this Blues group have played with Tom Jones; Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes; Jimmy Clanton; Coasters; The Marveletts; and Teddy Prendergast.
-ICC Annual Raffle and Holiday Open House, Saturday, December 15th from 6 p.m. featuring live music, dancing, food and a cash bar. This is your chance to win the $30,000 raffle prize. You do not have to be present to win, but you need to purchase your ticket by December 15th.
-Irish Christmas in America at the ICCNE on December 21st at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance per person / $30 at the door per person.
-Enter the Haggis concert on Friday December 28th at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, available on line, by calling the ICC or at the door. Concert is usually a sellout so buy your tickets early!
