The 11th Ras na hEireann U.S.A. 5Km takes place on March 10th and is the lead sponsor of the acclaimed musical "The Fiddlers of Inishbofin" a romantic comedy of music rivalry taking place at The Burren in Davis Square-Somerville, MA on March 13th, 14th & 15th. Rás na hÉireann is the most genuine Irish race this side of the Atlantic. It is a celebration of traditions dating back centuries - and simply a celebration of spring in Somerville, Massachusetts. There is a 5000 registered runner and walker limit but the event has sold out weeks in advance every year since 2004.
