Irish Clubs of Boston to hold Hurricane Sandy benefit

There will be a dance benefit at Concannon’s Village in Norwood to aid Hurricane Sandy victims of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish in Atlantic City, New Jersey on December 29th from 5:30pm to midnight.
Participants will be able to enjoy such Irish bands as The Noel Henry Band, Erin’s Melody, Kathy and the Irish Americans, and Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.
This benefit is being sponsored by the Braintree Irish Music club, Knights and Ladies of St. Finbarr - Cork club, County Donegal, Mayo and Sligo associations, The Irish Cultural Centre, Malden Irish American Club, Norwood Club, the Roscommon Assoc., North Shore Irish American Club, the Leitrim Society, and the Irish Social Club.
Please bring donated items such as non-perishables, canned goods, new clothing, bedding, baby items, to the evening of the benefit. There is a suggested donation of $10.
