· ICC Academy Irish Language 7-Week Winter Session on Wednesdays, January 16th to February 27th, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for Beginner and Intermediate students. Instructors are from Cumann na Gaelige I mBoston. January 23 is last night to register. $98 for ICC and Cumann Members | $112 Non-Members.
Q: I received a two-year green card, based on my marriage to a US citizen. I see that the card is due to expire in a few months. What do I do now?

Q: I applied to US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for lawful permanent resident (green card) status, based on my marriage to a US citizen. Now we have received a notice telling us to appear for an interview. What does this involve?
The Boston Police Gaelic Column (bag pipers from the Boston Police Department) will host a fundraiser at the Irish Social Club on Saturday, January 19th beginning at 5:30 pm to raise money for nearly a dozen FDNY Pipes and Drums police who lost their homes in Rockaway, Queens, New York due to Hurricane Sandy. Admission is only $20 and tickets can be purchased very soon at The Corrib, West Roxbury Pub and West on Centre as well as at the Irish Social Club or at the door. Donations should be made payable to NYPD Piper Relief Fund and either mailed or dropped off at The Irish Social Club, 119 Park Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
