Dublin is being urged to take on a new scheme called 'urban cargo' within the next 18 months. The bicycle delivery system, to be used within the city center, will hopefully cut down on traffic during Metro and DART Interconnector construction.
The scheme is already used in Paris and Geneva.
Tom Coffey, from the Dublin City Centre Business Association (DCCA), said the scheme would slash the cities delivers costs by 15 percent.
Do you think this is a realistic solution for businesses?
