It's like comparing John McCormick with the Clancy Brothers or Flogging Molly. Innovations should bring a new twist to old style and attract a broader array of spectators to the genre and subgenres without displacing them. Too many of the festivals have become punk/rock heavy in an effort to attract a younger crowd.
Amazing! Gave me shivers down my spine and a glorious smile!
Thanks God we are IRISH!!
Too cool!! How I would have loved to be there!
Cool man !
good entertainment for the visitors
Watched it again. It's great, but the music is garbage. There are countless Irish jigs & reels--why did they pick this hideous version?
What is it about Irish dancing that just seems to make people smile? I loved it. Wouldn't that be great in Grand Central station.
Very Good. I always think the Irish only become Irish when they leave Ireland. In Ireland the Irish sneer at what the call Diddley-Die music and dancing.
This absolutely fantastic! Great to watch... maybe they'll repeat it this Sunday when Sydney holds it's St Patricks' Day parade.
