The picture, posted on Twitter @earthposts this week shows the more populated areas, like Dublin in Ireland, lit up brighter than others.

It's absolutely amazing! More interesting if you are familiar with the geography of the UK and Ireland. Very thought provoking. Looks like tiny Wales is the place to get away from it all...

This photo taken high up in the night skies clearly shows that Britain and Ireland are two separate and distinct entities.
