| Dubliner Agata Dembiecka |
What do Dublin resident Agata Dembiecka and Bill Clinton, Alicia Silverstone, Natalie Portman and Joaquin Phoenix have in common? They are all sizzlingly sexy vegans and vegetarians.
PETA is now on a mission to find their sexy but not-quite-world-famous counterparts. Agata has beaten out hundreds of entrants from across Europe to become one of eight female finalists in PETA's Europe's Sexiest Vegetarian contest.

Agata swore off meat when she made the connection between friend and food. "Eating a chicken for me would be like eating my own dog", she explains. Now, when the part-time model isn't posing for the camera, she's fostering animals or making people smile as a customer service assistant.

@Dundalk, I do think your attack on GD was a bit crazed. For example, you make a big deal of allegedly higher meat consumption in Ireland than Poland. Of course there would be, because Ireland is a far richer country than Poland. And poor people can't afford meat. When those poor people get access to meat, as in the case of Poles living in Ireland, it's natural that they'll pig out because they can afford to. Your reference to "national" is way out too, because the article makes no reference to nationality. You might want to consider apologizing to Dillon.

dundalk: You say you're not a vegetarian, but you sure are a fool. What grade school did you escape from? Look at the headline, you moron. Look at the first word, you dope. What does it say, you imbecile? It says "Dubliner", you clown. What does "dubliner" mean, you goof? It means "someone from Dublin", you ape. A Pole isn't "someone from Dublin" you utter amadan. I'll be nominating your post for the stupidest of the year on this site, you complete jerk.

@ GeorgeDillon:
what an idiot you are. firstly, resident and national are two very different things. Secondly, check some statistics - there is much more higher meat consumption (per capita) in Ireland than in Poland. I am not aware of the education standards in Ireland comparing to Poland, but seems like your standards are well below the statistic average.
BTW - i'm not a vegan or vegetarian.q

With a name like that I'd take a bit of convincing about that chick being a Dubliner. If she's a Pole living in Ireland she's still a Pole, why does IC claim her as Irish? A bit surprising, really, because I always notice in the Irish supermarkets that the Eastern Europeans are big carnivores, their baskets are full of meat, very little vegetable except maybe an onion. Anyway, as someone who hasn't eaten meat for some three decades now, her credentials seem pretty good to me. But I wouldn't share her love for her dog. I hate dogs, they're filthy animals. Whenever I see one I feel like giving it a kick, because I know it's thinking of where to crap or pee. And dogs are big carnivores--disgusting. In contrast, my cat will eat a little broiled fish now and then but her favorite meal is apple pie and cream.

There is no bigger lover of animals in the world than me. But I am not a vegan or vegetarian. And I would never confuse eating a piece of chicken with eating my dog. This chick has spent way too much time modeling under the hot lights. It has fried her brain.
