MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS - "Irish Celebration" (Official Music Video) from Stephan Gray on Vimeo.
Macklemore, an Irish American rapper’s song “Irish Celebration” describes the Irish people as a bunch of “freckled-face husters”. In this video he speaks about drinking pints and features footage of old men drinking stout in pubs and men in balaclavas throwing petrol bombs.
Is this really his image of Ireland?

Yes, I think this is a good image of Ireland. Some of us have that freckled face, some of us do drink over and above(everyone knows that) At one time we had men in balaclavas throwing petrol bombs.
Good video and this rap song or whatever its called. Good for him...O, and he is damn cute. Wouldn't mind having a pint or two of stout with him some evening!!Go Irish America. We love you and thank you for having us here in this great country. So many Irish come to this country and talk trash. Us Irish born in the old sod are no better than any one Irish person born here in USA. Yea, holy catholic Ireland, abuse, alcoholics, drugs, and should I go on? Right now I am so happy to be a good citizen of USA and not back in Ireland singing sad history songs with the Wolf Tones and trying to immigrate someplace. This song is a celebration of Ireland. Happy days everyone!

No nor the image of a rapper - why not leave rapping to real rappers. And you even missed the donkey in the video!

Irish American, wonder if he has ever been to Ireland. A pint of stout for the ould men....they can't afford the pint now. The balaclavas, hopefully they have all been burned a while back. He can't sing anyway.
