Vicki Kennedy visited Ted's grave as health care vote loomed

As the clock ticked down on the House debate om the controversial health care bill Sunday,
Vicki Kennedy visited Arlington National Cemetery where she said she "spent some time" with her husband, she told
CNN.
"I thought yesterday was an important day to be there, because I had hope and confidence."
She also praised the
Democrats and especially President Obama for the fight they showed when it looked like reform was in trouble.
"I think that President Obama showed incredible determination and courage and focus when he continued this battle; and
Speaker Pelosi to continue to rally the troops and the leaders in the
House of Representatives showed incredible determination and focus and courage," Kennedy said.
"And I think it is a real tribute to all the members of the House of Representatives as well. I think it is a real tribute to all of them and I am deeply, deeply, grateful, as I think are the American people."
"You know Teddy always said that when we finally pass health care reform and when people understand what's in the bill and what benefits there are for them, they are going to say 'What took you so long?' And I think that's going to happen here," Kennedy said.

vincent: take a look at the CLASS act that was passed as part of this bill. I think perhaps when people actually see what was in it as opposed to believing what they are told, they will see that it will be good for older people and for the American people as a whole.

Ted's caring for his people right up till his passing says much for the parents who showed enormous courage as trial after trial was placed upon them. No good deed goes unpunished - inferior others whining and feelings of inadequacy just vent spleen as even when in death the Kennedy's buries such tripe alive. What happened was that the American people gave Obama an historic election win so that he could fix the crisis in the American health care system and face down the wizards of high finance who have bankrupted the nation. They also wanted a government that would not sell our kids and their futures so that the military industrial complex could make historic profits. So far so good.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Kennedy and the late senator. I know he was interceding on behalf of the American people and I believe that generations to come will rember Ted Kennedy as one of the primary agents of postive change for his tireless work in passing healthcare reform. Rest in Peace and we will continue your work.

A lot of America's old people will end up in early graves over this bill. Your attempts to position this bill of freedom abuse as an act of patriotic sainthood is an insult to John F.
