| NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and his son Greg |
Greg Kelly seems like the victim in the rape case alleged against him.
That may not be the politically correct thing to say but I bet it turns out to be the truth.
There is something deeply suspicious about how this whole affair has entered the public domain.
Three months after an alleged rape a woman walks into a police station and makes an accusation.
She must know after that length of time a successful prosecution is almost impossible.
There is no possible physical evidence, no doctor's report, no third party, seemingly, other than her boyfriend who has his own questions to answer quite obviously.
So is there another motive?

The son of the NYPD Chief Ray Kelly and a very successful anchor for Good Day New York on Fox News has been a singular outstanding guy throughout his career.
A former marine, he covered the White House and America's various wars before taking over the Good Day New York slot.
Now his career is in deep jeopardy because of a rape accusation, four months old when it was made.
It is an incredibly serious allegation, which, if true, deserves the full punishment of the law.
But that seems like a massive outside possibility.
What happened that night after Kelly and the paralegal woman whom he had met and went for drinks with will strictly be a he said/she said series of allegations.
We know they willingly went back to her law firm because she told him her boyfriend was home in her place.
We know they texted and talked after the alleged assault and that the woman later claimed she was pregnant by him.
We also know that her boyfriend, clearly angered by what had transpired, tried to raise it publicly with Kelly's father, the police commissioner .
Kelly is in a no win situation until the District Attorney decides whether to proceed with charges or not.
But it seems to me that the allegations against him are flimsy to say the least.
I suspect the boyfriend was very angry when he heard about the encounter and this stems from that moment.
But time will tell.
The New York Post this morning reports that investigators “don’t buy her story,”
“It sounds like a bunch of BS” the source said.
Another source said, “It sounds like she got caught [cheating] by her boyfriend, and then he forces her hand: ‘If you’re not lying, you better report.’
As I said much more to come out.

Politics has become such a dirty and dangerous game. This is about going after his father. Remember there is speculation that Ray Kelly may run for Mayor when Bloomberg's term is up. They are starting early to cast the NAME in a bad light, arouse suspicion, that is all that is needed and our ever vigilant News Media will do the rest. This is a pure scam, she cheated on her boyfriend, got caught or, perhaps the boyfriend was in on it too. Exposes it 8 months later, no police report, no Dr. Report, her word against his. What did she invite him back to her place of business fit, to play canasta?, which brings up another question, is that against her Law Firms code of conduct, bringing someone there after hours for a little sex. The law firm should investigate her and if they are smart fire her. Ray and Greg Kelly should stand strong as I'm sure they will.

Something is weird here - meeting on street, going to the law office where is employed, not as a lawyer, getting what? Mikey Finned perhaps? And the boyfriend goes after the Commissioner when he knows the work address of the so-called rapist...why not confront him outside or inside the TV studio - bigger press or...is this all about going after the Police Commissioner himself.

Typical, woman hater! Yer crush for Greg is very apparent, Mr. Fruity Pants. Yeah, blame the victim before ALL the facts are in! Good one quoting the NY Post. I'm sure what they say is the God's Honest Truth!. Listen, stop pretending to be a journalist, because yer not. Yer a disgrace.

So lets see, you are quoting an anonymous source supporting an extremely rich and famous man who works for an extremely powerful organization. I wonder if they have any ulterior motives? Especially given the fact that these guys play fast and loose with the facts all the time. Women frequently don't come forward with rape complaints immediately because of accusations just like these. Perhaps instead of trashing a possible victim of a horrible crime we should let the courts determine the outcome. Then again trashing the accuser and/or the victim has become sport for the rich/powerful and the media in America. What ever happened to justice? Here's a suggestion, name your source. Then whatever happens in court, your source can be held accountable regarding their own accusations and we will all know exactly who this person is, what, if any, skin they have in the game, and what information they actually have, if any, regarding the case.

Just further proof that women have a special right to claim crimes against themselves when there is absolutely no basis in fact, no evidence, etc.

I only learned that this guy was the Commish's son when this broke and had to laugh just because his co-host, Rosanna Scotto, is the daughter of a powerful Mafia captain. Only in New York

I am a huge Greg Kelly, ever since he was on NY1. He and Rosanna Scotto have such compatibility on the TV. There are way too many questions as to this woman's motives. Did she get an abortion as she said (how do we know it was his if there is no baby), what kind of person is she if she cheated like that on her boyfriend. Something is very doubtful about this story. If this gets cleared up, then from now on, Greg must be more careful in his personal life.

He's either naive or arrogant. 40 years ago I worked with a lawyer who was a real lady's man. Even then he said he always brought the girls to his apartment. He didn't want a spurious accusation by going to her apartment.

Appears to be a setup aimed at embarrassing the father and Fox News. The Commish is in the way of an evil flood.

Unless there is more to come out, I think this is a far less compelling case than Straus Kahn.
