Will GOP gays be outed after claim that Lindsay Graham is gay?

The politics of immigration reform just got a lot dirtier, but it is Republicans who will end up wallowing in the mud.

William Gheen, head of American for Legal Immigration one of the main anti-immigration reform groups, has stated that Lindsay Graham, the only Republican who supports comprehensive reform, is gay and that may be the reason he is favoring immigration reform.

The logic behind that is stunning. It somehow tries to connect someone's sexuality to their position on immigration reform. It is like saying earthquakes are connected to the weather.

Gheen has declared open season on Graham, but he may be surprised about who is forced out of the closet as a result.

This is a war and there are no doubt several Republicans deep in the closet who must now be quite fearful that their names will surface in this latest witch hunt.

It is clear to any reasonable person that a person's sexuality has nothing to do with his political beliefs . Except William Gheen of course. Even Lou Dobbs who has learnt some sense on this issue has now called on Gheen to resign.

For the sake of decency, let's hope he does.

You must not have gotten the memo...earthquakes aren't connected to the weather, they're caused by loose women...that according to a very wise Muslim cleric.

Truth is the victim when political fights need to be won based on smears. Is a defamation lawsuit an adequate remedy for such lies? Immigration is a very emotional issue fueled in part by the current 'natives' forgetting their immigrant roots.

Divisive politics are in full swing. These extremists talk out of both sides of their mouth when it suits them about America and Christian values. Did they miss the passage about” Judge not, lest ye be judged” or bearing false witness?

Just another right wing nut. These people operate on the principle of "Don't confuse me with the facts. I've got my mind made up." Lindsey Graham upset me during the Clinton impeachment; but it seemed to me that he is rather moderate. He is also Reserve officer. AF JAG, i BELEIVE.

I truly think that anyones personal life which does not in any way effect their job or someone else should be kept away from public eyes or ears. Gossip is wrong according to the bible.

I can think of many reasons to not support Senator Graham, his being gay is not on that list.

The Republicans have been using this criteria against good American politicians now for years due to this fanatical religious christian taliban now controlling the Republican Party and it seems more and more the strongist ones to come out for hatred against LGBT's are closeted gays themselves. It makes no sense to be so bigoted but they are using this to fill their coffers to spread more hatred in America today.

Alrighty, then. How do these people get off talking like this? I believe in the First Amendment just like anyone else but this is going beyond anything Rush and/or Glenn has said. Too bad you can't cure stupid.
