  I see that polls show that Gingrich won in SC even among "evangelical Christians". Nothing surprises me about the Bible Bums. They whine about family values and then vote for a serial adulterer, They talk about Christian love yet are first to urge the use of the bomb and the bullet overseas. It's disgusting to see that the Bible Bums are making inroads in Ireland. We've even seen some nonsense from Bible Bum Oirish posted on this site.

  We all know about Newt and his wives etc. Of course his party is the moral values group, what a sham..............As big as the church claiming there were no molestations of children and then we find it all over the world.............the worst part of the crime is they knew it, hid it and even moved many of the vile priests to new locations.....Where they continued to get the collection plate filled and the same re the childrens orifices..................And of course the church once again proved its hypocrisy - by taking in a man who is helping to destroy marriage.

  Isn't it amazing that, within only one week of Tiger Woods crashing his Escalade, the press found every woman with whom Tiger has had an affair during the last few years? And, they even uncovered photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc.! Furthermore, they not only know the cause of the family fight, but they even know it was a 9 iron from his golf bag that his wife used to break out the windows in the Escalade. Not only that, they know which wedge! And, each & every day, they were able to continue to provide America with updates on Tiger's sex rehab stay, his wife's divorce settlement figures, as well as the dates & tournaments in which he will play. Now, Barack Hussein Obama has been in office for almost three years, yet this very same press: • Cannot find any of his childhood friends or neighbors; • Or find any of Obama's high school or college classmates; • Or locate any of his college papers or grades; • Or locate any of his lovers both gay and straight; • Or determine how he paid for both a Columbia & a Harvard education; • Or discover which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980's; • Or even find Michelle Obama's Princeton thesis on racism; •Or locate any information on his past life story; • Or find his original unedited birth certificate. They just can't seem to uncover any of this. Yet, the public still trusts that same press to give them the whole truth! Find that totally amazing. Had to put up with ten years (2 terms year before and after) of GW being compared to Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot (interstingly, never Mao, guess that his critics still relish their little red books). How can we forget those email photos of George morphing into a baboon--how bloody racist of you all! Bill Clinton presided over a fine economic expansion...but only after Newt led the GOP to victory in Congress with his Contract for America. Coincidence?

  Since democrats can't debate the real issues that affect the country they fall back on the old democrat tactic of personal attacks and character asassination. How is it that obama never has to answer a question? Is it because he is only capable of reading prepared speech's off the teleprompter and has little idea what he is reading, like calling a Navy corpsman a "corpse man" How come no one asks him who paid for his college education? How come no one in Columbia University remembers him being there? How is it you haven't created a sinle new job in 3 years? You like to blame all our problems on Pres Bush, but you spent $3Trillion that have not created jobs or improved the economy. Where did the money go Mr President?   As an Irish American Navy veteran who is conservative, I believe that it is important to look at the background of Mr. Gingrich. The glass has to be half full and the conservative candidate has to be exemplary. The Kennedy and Clinton lifestyle are just not acceptable. The links of Mr. Gingrich to Fannie Mae (1.6 million retainer) are quite inexplicable. Romney has to step it up to see where things stand. I met Mr. G at a book signing. He talks a good game. Therefore, it is the duty of the press to dig. However, it is wisely said that the same does not hold true for Mr. Obama.

  @McNamara31: I am adding balance to this non-sensical personal attack article on Gingrich. The purpose of this article is to dis-credit him personally, thereby disqualifying him for president. It is written with the shroud of being a legitimate look "at his marriages". That is disgenuine and it is bullshxt. I am a Ron Paul supporter, but I will vote for Gingrich anytime, any day if Paul is not nominated. His alleged "ethics violations" pale in comparison to the viciousness and destructiveness that this administration seeks to impose on this country. Colkelley said it best. We've had enough of the "manchurian candidate". What is he hiding? What has he hidden? Why has his past been erased? Where is his past? Whey has it been sealed? This stuff is scary.

  And we still know nothing at all about Obama...not a single page of his school records...not a single girl or woman he ever dated...nobody in the same classes in the same major in the same year remembers Obama at all...he has a phantom past about which the American public is allowed to know nothing at all by Court Order obtained by Obama and his cronies. I would rather know all of the mistakes made by a candidate (and assume they learned from those mistakes) than have a Manchurian Candidate for President as we currently have.

  This article is total bullshxt! I don't care if Newt Gingrich has been married twice before or 7 times before. He is an incredible mind and would be infinitely better for this country than what we have now. Just because Bill Clinton used cigars as sex toys with young interns didn't disqualify him from presiding over the best economy in recent national history. I also like the fact that Newt has a good Scotch Irish mind and that alone will help us. (His born name is I believe MacPherson).

  Is your rehash on Newt's marital life really necessary? We get it that you can't tolerate him, since you're on the far left and hardly "fair and balanced" in your political views. Your column is like "preaching to the choir" for all the anti-Newt people and you're not going to change any pro-Newt people's minds. Evidently the RCC wasn't too offended and were able to excuse Newt's marital past, since they took him in as a member. But then there are the people who find Newt's policies and past performance in the political arena even more offensive than his marital past. Newt hasn't won anything yet, even though he has his supporters.
