1. Money -- he can spend a billion or so and not miss it to much.He claims he is worth $7 billion.
2.Weakness of the GOP field. Mike Huckabee is leading most polls for heaven's sake and he is likely not running
3.Media coverage. They can't get enough of the guy and whether you think it like watching a car crash or the smartest guy alive people keep tuning in
4. Name recognition; How many millions will Tim Pawlenty have to raise to make himself as well known
5. Great media performer. Say what you like but the Donald understands how to sell himself better than any man alive
6. Best advisers money can buy. He can spend spend spend and get the best people around him.
7.Simple messages well delivered. It is what the modern era is about, good and bad, darkness and light, Trump has a villain and a hero (himself) for every story.
8. Links to powerbrokers. Trump knows everyone important on Wall Street and in real estate and can raise more money in a flash
9. Obama's weakness. If economy and gas prices continue to go south the incumbent is in big trouble
10.Weakness of the other Republican candidates. Trump is a skilled debater and can win the debates with sound bites

I see JamieLM follows Trump articles and says he cannot win. Really? My biggest question to Jamie is: since Trump has not released his finances, how can you say he is not the financial guru we think he is? Second, he struggled in his younger days, but has billions, that is some pretty good proof that Trump knows business and the art of the deal. Afraid Trump can beat Obama - you are right to be afraid because he could.

Don't bet on it. It's early and a lot can change between now and election day. Not too long ago some people were all worked up about a Palin presidency. #1 - Trump's not quite the financial guru you think he is when you take a good look at his financial background. Should've watched 60 Minutes to be enlightened on Trump's finances. #2 -These polls are worthless. #4 - How well known was Obama before he got into the race? Jimmy Carter wasn't exactly a household name, either, before he ran for POTUS. They managed to get the $ to run. #10 - Are you kidding? I've seen Trump get all huffy and nasty and uptight when asked questions he couldn't or didn't want to answer. Hardly a smooth operator. Not every American is as impressed with Mr. Trump and his opinions and ideas as he is.
