Rush Limbaugh leads charge on Obama birth certificate again

Just when you thought American politics was getting back to some real bipartisanship and progress...

Rush Limbaugh among others is calling again for Obama to produce the long form of his birth certificate to prove he was born an American.

The right wing web was aflame yesterday with stories that Hawaii governor Neil Abercrombie had not found the version of Obama's birth certificate , though Abercrombie himself had said nothing on the topic.

It is the kind of issue that will doom Republicans in 2012, a relentless drumbeat of lies, speculation and pure fantasy.

Back in the Clinton era it was who killed Vince Foster, a tragic figure who committed suicide.

Clinton used those crazy tactics to forge two successful runs at the presidency.

Obama should do the same now, corral these conspiracy theorists especially Rush Limbaugh, as the intolerant face of the Republican Party as he heads into election 21012.

The drum roll of verbal diarrhea from Limbaugh is nothing new of course, the four times married, prescription pain killer drug addled paragon of perfection presumes to lecture all Americans on morality and proper behavior.

It is a sad reflection that after the Gabbie Giffords shooting that he and his fellow pundits are back beating this dead horse one more time.

Shouldn't we all just move on?

When Obama was answering a reporter's comment about his train trip across some states during his campaign for President, he responded with a reference to the beautiful "55 -- no 57 states" we have (the U.S. has 50 states). No one in his graduating law year remembers him as a student. And we're worried about his birth certificate? DUH!

It is not just the birth certificate. He has never release his college records. Who paid for Columbia and Harvard. He graduated without any student loans. Who paid for his trip to Pakistan in 1981 and why go there. We know les about him than any oher President in history. WHAT HAS HE GOT TO HIDE?

I have to show my BC when requested......why won't he??? What is he afraid of??? That he was born in Kenya.......that he became a citizen of Indonesia in order to travel to Pakistan.........that he changed his name to Barry Soetoro.........that he applied and attended colleges and law school differently than as an American citizen.

Obama's birth cert IS public. You can find it on FactCheck.org in several.JPG files. You can also find briefs from the various law cases filed by the birthers, investigations of their claims, and reasons for dismissals of their cases. You can find on-line copies of the forged Kenyan cert, along with a list of the forger's obvious mistakes. It's a done deal; he's a natural-born citizen! Refusing to move on in the face of incontrovertible evidence is fanaticism.

It is rather hard to "move on" regarding this topic when such poorly written pieces such as this continue to appear spreading more misinformation. The new governor of Hawaii is the person who really renewed this lastest round of a battle that could be won easily by Mr. Obama. He simply has to produce his actual birth certificate and poooof.. Away goes the battle and the right wingers go home with egg on their faces. Civiity? It seems to me that there is real hate behind that sentence you've spent hours hammering out attacking Mr. Libaugh on a personal basis. Let's loook at this story as journalists. Whomever breaks the story one way or other will have broken the story of the century. I think we can agree on that. So, if a journalist has "seen" the official birth certificate we can expect that he/she would have broken the story. And, we do have such a person. Bill O'Reilly has said on the air that he has "seen" the birth certificate. Perhaps rather than jumping all over Mr. Limbaugh, you should demand that Bill O'Reill looks out for us by telling us when and where he saw the birth certificate. And since he has an interview coming up with Mr. Obama, perhaps you should urge him to ask the question so many have been asking for so long. "Where's the birth certificate?" Thanks for asking for my opinion.

I didn't run or get elected for Potus. It is the law that you MUST be a American citizen born in America To become Potus. There has been millions spent keeping documents hidden from the American people. It doesn't matter if you are Dem. or Repub. or the man in the moon the law is the law. olovely, if you can't understand that your dumber than you look, nitwit. If things were reversed & we had a conservative President who refused to produce any & every document from the day of his birth on, you & your ilk would be rioting in the streets. The double standard of liberal do as I say not as I do will eventually come back to haunt you. You need to stop beating your wife & drink alot more.

maloney you need to stop beating your wife and getting drunk before you post. all you have to do is just produce your birth certificate to prove you are who you say you are. why don't you? what are you afraid of? i'm just saying. some have said you're not irish. i have never seen proof to contradict that claim.

you need to check your facts...Abercrombie has said quite a bit...he said it was to be his "top priority" to "torpedo the birthers" by finding and releasing proof obama was born in Hawaii...then after his investigation he said he actually found "something written down" but not a birth certificate...then he told his best friend Mike Evans that he had searched, but there is no birth certificate

Rush makes a living selling smear, hate and division. That's why three women couldn't bear to stay and we will see how long number four will last. Obama is self made man, married to his one and only wife, and a great father. You may disagree from a political perspective, but when it comes to character, Rush is not worthy to shine Obama's shoes.

It seems The President would produce the correct document and put this all to rest. The fact that he has not makes one assume he does not have the document. That being the case he is a a farce, a liar and not the president of the USA.
