Rush Limbaugh lashes out at Bill O'Reilly

Bookmark and Share

Rush Limbaugh has decided to go after Bill O'Reilly in his ever increasing efforts to wipe out anyone who disagrees with his 'sky is falling' take on America right now.

Limbaugh mocked O'Reilly on his show, trying to imitate him and stating that O'Reilly refused to condemn socialists.

Limbaugh stated, imitating O'Reilly, that Socialism should be given 'a fair shake' and that he (O'Reilly) didn't like Obama bashing.

Limbaugh stated O'Reilly did not seem to care that Obama was causing "the destruction of the country."

For his part O'Reilly easily parried the Limbaugh remarks, probably quite happy that Rush had taken a shot. He knows that must mean O'Reilly is starting to goad Rush quite a bit with his more moderate line in recent times.

O'Reilly stated quite simply ' personal attacks are useless" and ' name calling gets us nowhere' and he refused to call Obama a socialist, playing a clip from his interview with him on the campaign trail in 2008 where he challenged Obama on that very point.

Bottom line? O'Reilly is coming out of all this much better than Limbaugh who is increasingly sounding like a broken record. O'Reilly knows Americans want these problems solved and do not want a war of hateful words. Limbaugh should learn that lesson too

The fact that so many in America, think anything those two say is relevant is a sad commentary on America's education system.
I love it when they start eating their own. On a related note, would one of you right wingers please define socialism.
their "own" big mouths, sorry.
I agree with you reallyrogue, they are fast becoming irrelevant thanks to their oen big mouths.
no he's not. O'Rielly did a complete turn around on this issue beause he works for fox news which is owned by CFR member Rupert Murdoch and a Muslim Prince, Glen Beck now believes in Global warming, he didn't before. You figure it out. you never get it right.
Great article, from an "outside-the-goings-on" view. As an American, I am constantly embarrassed by the inane rantings from such poorly-educated bigots with bully pulpits as Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh. In other societies they may be jailed for their rabble-rousing rhetoric. Thank God for free speech! These vacuous windbags will talk themselves into irrelevant obscurity, without help. Eventually the whole village figures out who the idiots are, and ignores them.
I'm surprised anyone still pays attention to Limbaugh...I thought his credibility was pretty well tarnished when he was rejected by his peers--filthy rich white guys like him who own or want to own football teams told him, "go away, you're bad news, we don't want anything to do with you". He's really become a pathetic, attention seeking figure.
