Rosie O'Donnell calls Rush Limbaugh a junkie
By: Patrick Roberts | Published Friday, February 19, 2010, 11:50 AM | Updated Friday, September 9, 2011, 9:31 PM

Rosie O'Donnell was on the
Janeane Garafolo show letting off steam about conservatives in general and
Rush Limbaugh in particular. Her remarks will not endear her to the Tea Party Titan.
The two liberal ladies got to musing about Rush Limbaugh and his enormous influence on the right. They also were quite cutting about those on the right Here is a brief clip.
O'Donnell : ....And how is it that he's able to be a junkie, literally, and sort of still have reverence, respect, and be heralded as the leader of these, you know...
GAROFALO: Well, look at who he's talking to.
O'DONNELL: I know.
GAROFALO: Look at who he's talking to.
O'DONNELL: Those are the kind of people who if it was a junkie, right? What, because he buys the
Oxycontin from a doctor?
GAROFALO: Sure, bought it's very elastic, isn't it? It's always a double standard. When it comes to right wingers, whatever works for them works. [...]
GAROFALO: ....And you, when you talk that way to people, the way Rush talks to people, the way he lies to people, you can't have respect for him. You couldn't possibly respect who's listening to you if you lied to them the way that they do. They use these people as a blunt instrument.
O'DONNELL: Do you think that they believe it? Rush or
Glenn Beck or those people?
I'm sure Rosie will not be getting any Tea Party invites any time soon.

I never enjoyed journalists that take an awful picture of their subject, this article is designed to create awful insulting remarks,
Yerffac | Mar 08, 2012, 11:12 AM EST
Unbelievable. Rosie is a decent human being. If you want to talk about hate and bitterness, listen to Seran Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and that druggie Limbaugh. Are you people really as stupid as you sound?
kilgara | Feb 25, 2010, 12:14 AM EST
It's soooo boring The right wingers defend Rush [a junkie] and the lefties cheer Rosie [a sad loud-mouthed degenerate}. Where did it all go so wrong?
clonmel21 | Feb 24, 2010, 12:23 PM EST
O'Donnell too bad she has an Irish name for she is nothing but an insignificant hateful piece of humanity.
TraveLynn | Feb 21, 2010, 10:40 AM EST
I love how Rosie and Janeane think people actually care about what they have to say. These two are the type of people who give liberals a bad rap... I'm not liberal nor conservative, but listening to these 2 would make any self respecting person turn away from any liberal agendas. They do not base anything they say on research, just their opinions and their gigantic egos.
Christisall | Feb 21, 2010, 09:32 AM EST
Rush ain't pond scum. These two loud-mouthed, miserable are the pond scum . . .Rush looks great next to them.
Christisall | Feb 21, 2010, 09:32 AM EST
two ugly women--these two--angry, bitter women probably because they were not granted beauty or brains at birth. . .I feel truly sorry for them. Miserable human beings.
Christisall | Feb 21, 2010, 09:30 AM EST
Odonnell is a most unappealing human being and that's being kind. . .her words are like the oinking of a pig. . .and garofalo is no better--just two loud-mouthed, obnoxious broads. . .

Did she forget to call him fat or was she simply misquoted?
McNabb1966 | Feb 20, 2010, 04:48 AM EST
Rosie and Garofalo...their bitterness and hypocrisy makes them even uglier on the inside then they are on the outside...

Pbstein33 | Feb 19, 2010, 05:29 PM EST
O'Donnell-Ignorance,Apathy,Lack of intelligence,A mouth that far outruns her BRAIN. Garofalo-A second rate Actor and a Diatribe that only someone of a mindset such as "An O'DONNEL" could find merit in....
MikeRock | Feb 19, 2010, 04:31 PM EST
Hey Rosie, Look in the mirror!
PatrickLee | Feb 19, 2010, 03:41 PM EST
O'Donnell and Garofalo are the epitomy of what the Democrat party represents. They are mean spirited, vile and contemptuous. They respect Bill Clinton (a big liar) yet call Rush a liar and wonder how anyone can respect him. They are two faced sanctimonious moralists that can't come to grips with the fact that they are and will always remain second class citizens, not because they claim to be women but because of their core ideology.

Why on earth would anyone care what Rosie O'Donnell has to say. If I hear her loud mouth I immediately hit the forward button. She is nauseating to look at. Her loud mouth delivers only hate and diatribe, as for Garofalo, she is NASTY. As far as I can see, Democrats and Liberals are SO ANGRY all the time. They have Obama and his entourage in the White House, the campaign is over, smile a little. You have about 3 and a half years left.
windrider48 | Feb 19, 2010, 12:47 PM EST
What a bitter, nasty pair. They lash out at anyone at anytime as if they are believable. Don't dare have values around those two. Mickk33...lies and deceptions of right wingers? Who is it that lies daily to the people...oh, yeah, Obama. Take a deep breathand listen to what the man says...close your eyes and ignore the aura and listen to the words. After all, it was he who said "...it's words, just words..."
DaisysMom | Feb 19, 2010, 12:16 PM EST
Why does anyone care what Rosie O'Donnell has to say? She is one nasty person. And Garofalo isn't far behind.
irishwxman | Feb 19, 2010, 12:15 PM EST
What a hag. Mickk333....you must be REALLY angry that your political party is doing so lousy with the American population. Why the hostility? LOL!! Sore loser.

Rush Limbaugh has not cheated on his wife? gimme me a break he left wife no 4 and the new gal is 22 years old
Mickk333 | Feb 19, 2010, 11:20 AM EST
It's good to read someone saying what they mean instead of the lies and deceptions of the right wingers. After reading some of the comments, I guess there's a good share of people who prefer a slithering snake of a junkie to a woman who's taken the difficult path of being honest about herself, no matter how unpopular that makes her.
reinkefj | Feb 19, 2010, 10:07 AM EST
And, this from the "lady" who, when she needed the viewers, billed herself as the "Queen of Nice". Sure fooled me and a lot of others. Sadly, I henceforth and forever more dismiss her to the dustbin of "nasty people". Please ignore her as well. Until she earns our attention. Garofalo too.
mandokeith | Feb 19, 2010, 09:49 AM EST
WEll at least Rush has not cheated on his wife like many of the lefters, including a couple presidential hopefuls and a couple presidents. If you will lie to me you will steal from me, and you will take advantage of me; just like we see in the government right now. If you aren't part of the solution than you are part of the problem. All Rosie and Garafalo do is work their mouths to help drag us down into more of whet we have now. Socialistic, gay, adulterous, broke, US.
Derrylass627 | Feb 19, 2010, 09:34 AM EST
Why is everyone so concerned with the tea party fanatics? They are a small number of radical malcontents that aren't happy with anyone in government. Rush is probably not the only junkie to rant over the airwaves. But really, who cares at all about all of this nonsense? Don't we have better things to think about? I agree with Sissybiff.
rcrdskpr@aol.com | Feb 19, 2010, 09:31 AM EST
the lib talk shows should pay a fee to limbaugh, beck, et al conservative talk show hosts. without them to rant about, they wouldnt have an sudience or a show.
torbreezy | Feb 19, 2010, 09:15 AM EST
Who, besides you, listens to the Garofalo Show? You show your true colors by reprising snide remarks. This "piece" of yours is below the standards of IRISH CENTRAL and you can do better. Let's see . . . .
sissybiff | Feb 19, 2010, 09:00 AM EST
It is amazing that he still has the power to "air" his diatribes. Actually, it is scary
CitizenWhy | Feb 18, 2010, 11:34 PM EST
Limbaugh and Beck are weirdly smart: they have taken the style of the gay drama queen and made themselves the drag show queens of the right. It's like Elvis taking the black style and making it a hit among whites. Brilliant.
