Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton


Whisper it, but a victory for Mitt Romney would be very good news for Hillary Clinton if she still has ambitions to be president.

The main reason is the age issue – Hillary will be 69 in 2016 but so too will Mitt Romney, taking that particular question off the table.

If it was say, Hillary against Paul Ryan if Obama wins, then there is a clear generational gap that would play to the younger candidate’s strength.

Hillary will take her time deciding but it becomes a far more attractive proposition against a sitting Republican president.

The other way it helps Hillary is that she would not be seeking the third successive term for a Democrat if  Obama is re-elected. The fatigue factor would be in play in such circumstances.

In such a closely divided country the prospect of three successive terms for one party is hard to see.

Hillary will review all her options come November and there are no shortage of candidates who will be doing the same.

If Obama wins, expect Chris Christie to start throwing shapes.

A word of caution though, watching Christie with Romney in Ohio the other day, it became apparent that he has to do something about his weight.

He is not just overweight, he is severely obese, and irrespective of political correctness on this issue, I would be fearful for his health being that overweight – and so will every voter if his candidacy ever comes about.

Seano, if Obama wins, the economy he hands over will have to deal with a 23 trillion dollar debt, he could be the most successful marxist of all time. When ww three comes about I guess it will be up to Australia to save the world as America will be hamstrung. Maybe the Irish army will be able to hold back the next hitler?

I heard that since the Obama administration is throwing Hillary Clinton under the bus for Benghazi former President Clinton has hired lawyers to put together legal papers and briefs to defend her and turn the tables on Obama if she is charged for the lapse in securing our Ambassador.

If Hillary stands in 2016 Barack will handover an excellent economy giving her an advantage. If Romney wins he will handover an ailing economy to Hillary. A win win situation for Hillary.

"In such a closely divided country" it might be wiser to get behind the winner of this election. Too many people are obsessed with Clinton and her career, but at the end of the day,U.S must get itself working again. The career ambitions of one individual must be relegated, going forward.

Feck 2016 !! We are thinking of the future of our children and their children, whilst these carpetbaggers are playing the long game with their political careers. It is nothing to do with governance and guardianship, but much to do with personal ambition and aggrandisement. Carpe Diem ! The future of this world, as we know it, may be decided in the next 4 weeks, not 4 years! Obama is the man to steer us through this hidden minefield set out before us. There are forces afoot attempting to buy the presidency. Let us consider the massive contributions of Sheldon Adelson,a jewish multi billionaire who made his fortune through gambling casinos in Las Vegas. The land upon which his casinos are built belong to... wait for it...The Mormons. Romney just , fortuitously, happens to be a Mormon. Adelson's plans for his personal future and the plans of Romney,just happen to coincide. I think Daniel O'Connell would consider this parasitic cast, an incubus on the backs of the American people and I would agree!

If Romney wins everything must improve dramatically in the next four years in order for him to win re election if Hillary is the opponent in my opinion.
