Rahm Emanuel may lose Chicago race over immigration reform

If Rahm Emanuel wants to take over from Mayor Richard Daley in Chicago he is going to have to earn it.

Last week's statement by Congressman Luis Gutierrez that he is forming an exploratory committe is a warning shot for Emanuel.

Gutierrez hates Manuel with a passion, The pair have had several shouting matches over immigration reform.

Gutierrez, by far the most passionate advocate of immigration reform in Congress, believes that it was Emanuel who slow tracked the issue within the White House and forced it off the president’s agenda as a must -do priority.

Back in May Gutierrez made it clear that Emanuel was seen as the blocking force within the White House.

"I don't think Rahm Emanuel is a positive influence on the immigration debate," Rep. Luis Gutierrez told the Chicago Fox affiliate. "I don't think he sees it as a core value of the Democratic Party, or a necessity that the American people need to be acted upon."

He also said Emanuel would never get his endorsement for Chicago mayor.

"He’s not to get my endorsement anytime soon. He should stay in the White House, but then he can go make millions in investment banking," Gutierrez said, referring to the Wall Street position Emanuel previously held.

Gutierrez a former Chicago City Councilman is now considering his own run for mayor -- but even if he doesn’t he seems sure to represent a major stumbling bock for Emanuel.

In the end, given the large Hispanic vote, Emanuel may well regret not getting immigration reform higher on the president's priority list.

Speaking of good Irishmen, have any of you heard about Irish Admirals and sailors who commanded & manned warships of the Spanish Armada for the battle against england?...And Sean lad, I really don't care if she has a screechy voice, if she is still a virgin, or if she dabbled in black magic, you're an atheist fur cryin out loud, you are not supposed to believe in stuff like that. Seano...I heard today she said she had dabbled in black magic in 1999. So maybe she's not the brightest. So far she hasn't copped to being a Marxist. Say a prayer for us. All a senator has to do is vote, hell Biden did it, even obama pretended, voting present the majority of the time. Seems a chimp can be senator.

Talking about sages maybe you can get Christine to consult her black magic friends and have a teaparty coven and read the tealeaves,or maybe she can have an "anti-masturbation" coven or a "how not to pay income tax"coven, what about "dodging student loans"coven. Come November she will need a circled pentangle to consult on how to find a job(she's never had one anyway.

Yes trying to buy Joe Sestak to get out of the primary against arlen spectre, this is a severe federal felony/vote buying, which will get thoroughly investigated if the republicans and Darrell Issa take power this November. There will be lots of things that will get investigated if the republicans get into power and the corrupt cockroaches will be scattering....But that's enough rahm info. tonight lad. Last year just in AZ. 250,000 were caught. They estimate 400,000 got through on the low end. Just found some runners armed to the teeth living in caves in AZ. less than 1 mi. from 3 homes. seano you have no problem & I hope you never do.
