Princess Kate royal boob flashing a minor distraction for Royal Family -- Far worse in the past for the family that reigns over the minor empire

| Kate Middleton aka Duchess Catherine |
The topless photos of
Kate Middleton are much ado about nothing.
The royal family has weathered far more than this in their scandal-pitted history.
The dalliance with
Nazi Germany between the wars and the abdication of Edward and Mrs Simpson with their
pro-Nazi views would top my list.
That was actually something really serious that had massive repercussions and went far beyond the usual Royal shenanigans.
My favorite since was the taped phone call when Prince Charles told his then-mistress now wife Camilla that he wanted to be her tampon. Prince Charming it wasn’t.
Prince Harry dressing as a
Nazi, Prince Andrew selling access to himself, Fergie doing the same -- all grist to the royal mill.
In that context
Kate’s boobs hardly seem even newsworthy.
She’s a decent sort and should not be held accountable for the creepy tabloids who will do anything for a scoop.
This will be forgotten in no time and
Kate can get back to what she was brought in to the family to begin with for.
Producing a son and heir or daughter and heir is her real task in life, all the rest is glitter and show.
Now if the poor girl fails in that regard there would be a major to-do.
So get to it
Kate and Bill and forget about the tabloids.
There are more than enough boobs out there to begin with.

SOMEHOW I DONT THINK THE DAILY IRISH MIRROR WILL BE PRINTING THE PHOTOS OF KATE AGAIN ... THE PAPER NEARLY CLOSED DOWN AND THEY ALL NEARLY LOST THEIR JOBS...WAS SUCH A BAD TASTE THING TO DO..
seamus60 | Sep 19, 2012, 07:59 PM EDT
Just wondering why all the fuss at any woman going topless or any photographer sneaking a photo.
JimmieM | Sep 19, 2012, 07:38 PM EDT
The big deal is that she didn't "flash" a boob...a peeping tom stalked her and took a picture which he sold because there are very low class people who would like to be peeping toms... with stuff like this we cannot call our selves cultured and it indicates our civilization has a lot of growing to do

Kate looked lovely wearing a Hijab in Malaysia.

As an American I can't imagine why we are being constantly treated by our insipid media to the idiocy of this bunch of people calling themselves royal. However we do know their past and know that though they may be inbred, they and their cohorts are as cagey as ever. The first story is about a "commoner," possibly a former "serf," who marries a prince, is staying at a 642 acre chateau in France owned by a nephew of the queen. The second story is about the English not having housing due to a financial crisis. Our Smithsonian Magazine had an article a few years ago telling that the farmers of Cornwall did not own their land and had to turn over 17 million Euros a year to the royal, idle prince charles (remember the disgusting tampon phone call). Thank God we got rid of them but they and Hollywood seem to think they are going to return. Just try. By the way has Harry finished his second photo shoot and is he on his way home to the palace? One good thing, if Kate can land a "prince" with that chest, it may make American women stop mutilating themselves with breast implants. Sometimes good comes out of bad.

this could cause war between Britain and France, look up war of Jenkins ear,now it could be the war of katies boobs.much ado about nothing.all the same MORE or less, thats what papa ratsi do,if you dont want to be snapped be carefull where you get your toes sucked, yukky that.serious side, just another opportunity to gag the press, they have already closed down a national investigative paper, news of the screws, world i mean, interrogated, intimidated, jailed reporters and editors, and owners , Murdoch, have an on going multi million pound investigation?,inquisition would be a more accurate a description, by lord levenson who,s outcome is a foregone conclusion, even more gagging of a even now not a free press anyway,ie D notices whenever they want disclosures hidden, etc etc.fight for transparency and open government, dont be a mushroom, kept in the dark and fed s..t.

A very stupid judgement

The real boob is the stupid photographer. A real loser !!
Deidra47 | Sep 16, 2012, 04:46 PM EDT
I feel celebrities should be able to have privacy but the facts of life are.....like it or not....you are a celebrity and thus lose privacy as the rest of us no it. She's not a child and she knows how these photographers are and they use high tech equipement. Keep your top on and you won't have to worry about topless pictures being taken. I'm sure she had security folks and servents at the house and they could have seen her topless as well and she knew they were there.

I'm surprised fallser didn't blame the PIRA for taking the photographs to undermine the incestuous monarchy.
aloistmartin | Sep 15, 2012, 05:39 PM EDT
Now, Little Miss Flem Flash, wants to pull the Long Coat and Sunglasses over Our, eyes ? Isn`t such always the case, with these Spoiled Bourgeoisie Elitists ! Next thing you know, Buckingham Palace and ET want to send in the Marines for our Intellectual Rights, over Prince Harry`s Miami Beach Fatal Alcohol Intoxication fiasco !

FallsRNat. Stop pretending to be an Irish nationalist as you clearly are a Hun in disguise. What was wrong with arming defencless catholics in the North. Absolutely nothing.
FallsRNat | Sep 15, 2012, 10:29 AM EDT
Lynch's govt providing weapons & cash to create the PIRA, we should be careful about throwing our self righteousness about

If born to rule deference to privilege and wealth is the only thing that can bring British people together then let them have their circus and free for all freak show. I find it amusing. I certainly did during the Jubilee schmaltzfest of fawning adulation and hilariously jittery coverage of Oxbridge spluttering Beeb journos frantically trying to make an empty windswept, rain torn estuary on the Thames appear like Prince partying like it was 1999 all over again then desperately trying to stir up a few OAP's and one dog into a euphoric tide of whoopa that's their burden. I attended a christening in London that week-end and let me tell you although the Brits are neutrally in favour of the monarchy for the most part generally they are ambivalent, most shrugging "how can you have anything against dear old Queenie" etc... but the fawning adulation is greatly exaggerated. That week-end the houses that were decorated in Union flags were vastly outnumbered by those that did and the odd smatering of token flags on cars here and there aside you wouldn't have known it was on. As for 'Empire envy' if anything British history will show you that until recent history there was very little sentiment or dewy eyed nostalgic sycophancy for the torturers, executers and plunderers of land that made the peasants fight at gunpoint. Even the most ardent of Royal historians now confides quite openly that all evidence shows that instead of the noble cause of Queen/King and monarchy peasants only fought in wars to protect themselves and their families and generally despised serfdom and their Royal overlords.

Probably the most nothing article in Irish Central in ages. Why waste the space and readers time with this loose bit of styrofoam writing.
hermitTalker | Sep 15, 2012, 07:19 AM EDT
if I may interject a serious note; should the couple not be able to conceive an heir- law changed now it could be a daughter- today's medicine allows to alternatives rather than the Henry V111 method of whacking heads off. As for the article in general, it was barrel-scraping. Everyone knows there is a public tut-tutting about such photos, but private "buy me a copy, I am curious" is sadly too often the case.
SAirish | Sep 15, 2012, 05:57 AM EDT
This article is not only very uninteresting, but seems to have been written by his 9 year old son.
borefield | Sep 14, 2012, 08:48 PM EDT
Time and again IC amateurs write trash like middle school bad boys. Niall wake up. This so called news letter is worse than the news of the world in the 60's. Haha
seanomelb | Sep 14, 2012, 08:07 PM EDT
Dear me!! Patrick Roberts been castigated for telling it as it is.I am amused the Murdoch gutter press will not print the Photos, how noble! If it were Michelle Obama or one of the Kennedy's they would be all over it like the hypocrites they are.
EileenOfarrell | Sep 14, 2012, 08:02 PM EDT
What a disgusting article!! Shame on you Patrick. By the way, the proper name is breasts and you have them too!! Not that I'd want to see yours.
jacersagain | Sep 14, 2012, 07:26 PM EDT
Mr. Roberts should be sacked immediately byIrishCentral for even THINKING of writing such gutter trash. What next? - will he write of some of his fellow-tripe journalists/photographers exploiting children too? Pardon me... I just denigrated the good Irish dish made of tripe.
jamthecat | Sep 14, 2012, 06:37 PM EDT
Snotty. That's the only word applicable to this "column."
StevieVirginia | Sep 14, 2012, 06:28 PM EDT
Patrick has "Empire Envy".
Belderrig | Sep 14, 2012, 04:54 PM EDT
Just to point out that she is a Duchess not a Princess.
bob40wil | Sep 14, 2012, 04:39 PM EDT
Also, Patrick, your anti- Brit is showing.
bob40wil | Sep 14, 2012, 04:37 PM EDT
I've seen the pictures, not much to make such a fuss about, it's not like she's got great cans or anything, mediocre at best.
ancavker | Sep 14, 2012, 03:47 PM EDT
As Jamie said, if so minor, why bother reporting it. This Irish fascination with the Royal family is just pathetic> Who cares!
manhattan | Sep 14, 2012, 03:20 PM EDT
There is nothing the gutter press won't stoop to. But if lame brains buy these rags it will continue. Just like the the war on drugs it will never end as long as there are customers buying them. She is a lovely girl and I hope she will hold her head up over this.
aloistmartin | Sep 14, 2012, 02:41 PM EDT
Where`s the Beef ! Hunting Lodge. Indeed !
citizen69 | Sep 14, 2012, 01:40 PM EDT
Where else but Irish Central would you read such a spiteful article? Well done Patrick. Let's hope no-one ever sneaks over your garden wall and takes a photo through a crack in the curtains of your naked wife/boyfriend/daughter and publishes them for the world to see.
LinLinisme | Sep 14, 2012, 11:02 AM EDT
So what. Who is she anyway? She married into the royal family, should every detail of her past be made public?" Many people have been photographed in less than perfect poses.
jamieLM | Sep 14, 2012, 10:12 AM EDT
BTW: If this is such a "minor empire", why do you care what they do and why do you write about it?
jamieLM | Sep 14, 2012, 10:09 AM EDT
Congratulations on a mean-spirited article. I'd expect to read something like this in the National Enquirer. I guess you couldn't think of anything more newsworthy than to ridicule this young woman, who had her privacy invaded, just because she's a member of the British Royal family. Just a cheap shot.
