TomDemocrap55 it is so nice the you are so in love with obummer. It is wonder that you are not one of his czars. How is that Hopey, Changey thing working out for you??? obummer play the White mother, black father thing while campaigning the first time around, but have not heard much about being half and half since the election. As for the people of Ireland, they are very curtious and polite and usually treat all people well. I, myself being from Chicago and knowing Chicago style politics very well know good from bad politians. Chicago just last week was voted the most corrupt city in the U.S.and that is how obummer made gains so quickly. ciaradexy. I am not a racist. I do not like the white half of him. Next time get my name right, oh and by the way I am 100% Irish and obummer is only about 1/16

TomDem55...I guess you didn't read about the passing of "Obamacare?" ("We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it."-Then Speaker of the House, The Honorable Nancy Pelosi) Also, how can the Republicans pass any jobs bill(can you say "The Keystone Pipeline" that even the Democratic leaning unions supported) with Senator Reid in control of the Senate and Obama stating that he would veto it? The Republicans even tried to include the Keystone Pipeline in the recent payroll tax cut extension, but the Democratic Congress didn't allow it to be added as an amendment.

I take exception, the 4-leaf clover IS the appropriate symbol for Prez B.O. Consider this: he was lucky that his maternal grandparents gave him a good upbringing--something his biological dad wouldn't do. He got financial aid as a "foreign student" cause he had just previously lived in Indonesia, he also must have gotten lots of scholarships to bulk up his curriculum vitae, he was lucky to travel to Pakistan without getting his passport "soiled." In his first run for state office, his opponent was unlucky with ballot challenges. With his run for the Senate his opponent's ex-wife leaked some damaging accusations from their divorce. Without having to sponsor any substansive legislation he was lucky enough to be nominated for the Presidency. He was lucky enough to have David Axelrod micromanage his campaign against a liberal GOP war veteran. His campaign was well financed by most of the Wall Street bankers--very lucky. Yes, a lucky 4-leaf clover rather than a 3-leaf shamrock is a much better symbol for "O'Bama."

Jerry, which socialist economic policies? The saving of the Auto Industry? The reinvigorating of the US economy with NO help whatsoever from the Republicans controlling Congress? Go ahead name ONE jobs bill the republicans have sponsored? Surprise, you can't because the Republicans in the House have only had women's reproductive rights in their agenda. Phlutie, so all one needs to do to loose their ancestry HOWEVER small or large is to disagree with so called Irish Catholic religious leadership, the same leadership which covers up crimes against children? THAT leadership.....seriously

President Obama, Please get someone to do proper research before pulling such a stunt - which is how it comes off using a four leaf clover. Shamrocks, used to explain the trinity by St. Patrick are the Irish symbol not the splap dash American 'lucky' 4 leaf clover. But it really is just a t-shirt. As to my fellow readers - Chicago Irish was who Ms. Obama referred to, history - even very recently, shows there was great misuse of political power by many Americans of Irish ancestry - her issue was with the misuse of power. And it is Scots - NOT Scotch - that is what you drink.

Within the last two weeks, Jodi Kantor released a book in which it was stated that Michelle Obama "resented" the Irish Catholic political leadership in Chicago. Come on now about the Obamas and their so-called love and respect for the Irish. African-Americans are 12.6% of the US population according to the 2010 census. You count 1% Scotch-Irish and the Irish come in at 12.2%. So, where is the offical Irish holiday. The Irish share of the vote would be equal to that of Obama and his clan. Obviously once again, the Irish should be courtin' the Black note and not the other way around. There is no doubt of the socialist ambitions of Obama and in order to achieve that goal, the Irish leadership must be destroyed.

So Peggy, how has President Obama brung this nation to it's knees? by Starting a war with folks In Iraq who did not attack us? by sending jobs from the US to china? by prosecuting two wars and borrowing the money for the wars from China? By cutting taxes on the rich In Time Of War? By doing away with habeus corpus? By torturing our enemies? We, you may remember are the GOOD GUYS we don't torture, we executed Japanese officers for water boarding OUR men during WW2. And just how is President Obama a socialist? Oh let me see he saved the American Auto Industry and thus probably saved American Capitalism, so that does not qualify... What does it matter HOW much Gaelic blood he has, he HAS some, what are you doing WHERE are you going with that opinion. YOU know who makes those racist arguments. Oh and one more thing, he gets to ask for all types of hyphenated-American votes as he is the President, and thus president of ALL the citizens of These United States. Bill Clinton gave a wink and a nod to His Irish Roots, were you similarly outraged over that? We have two wars, maybe another coming, a recession that has slowed the mighty American Industrial machine, and you folk jabber about how much or little Gaelic blood a fellow American has. How small minded of you folk. Bruce Springsteen has spoken about his Catholic upbringing in New Jersey, and HIS Irish roots, does HE have enough Gaelic blood ???

nothing offered would make me vote for Obama. No amount of things, money... he has set out to ruin our country and if we allow him to continue, we only have ourselves to blame. If a person chooses not to speak up against what is wrong, that person is as guilty as that person who does the wrong. Therefore , I will not vote for Obama, no how now way, not ever. He is (along side of Jimmy Carter) one of the worst presidents we have had in the U.S. Want socialism and big overbearing goverment, vote for him.

I would think any true blooded Irish American is trying to forget his (Obama's) Irish roots. He's already did enough to bring this country to it's knees and now we can add religious freedom. According to Irish Central, Ireland's citizens love him so maybe he should go there and run for office and spend what little money they have left.
