Good for Jerry Seinfeld when it comes to stating that the emperor has no clothes.

Or in this case that the entire Royal Wedding shebang is a dress up fantasy meaning absolutely nothing.

Speaking like a true republican Seinfeld told a British TV show that;

"Well it's a circus act, it's an absurd act," Seinfeld said (via the Daily Mail). "You know, it's a dress-up. It's a classic English thing of let's play dress-up. Let's pretend that these are special people. OK, we'll all pretend that -- that's what theater is."

Seinfeld continues, "And that's what the royal family is -- it's a huge game of pretend. These aren't special people -- its fake outfits, fake phoney hats and gowns."

He is so correct. Maybe in the days when Britain ruled the waves, there was a point to all this poop and nonsense.

Now its just fairy tale stuff for little girls and grown women to dream about the fantasy wedding they probably never had.

Stuff and nonsense indeed

No it isn't. not for these people for the real truth is that in the English speaking world that is rapidly becoming race-mixed the house of Windsor will be of pure blood and descent while you clowns that thrive on the likes of Elton John,Brittany Spears,Little Richard,Elvis, Micheal Jackson and the rest of them will have your mixed race descendants toting garbage in Sydney or Dublin while the glories of the unmixed descent of the house of Windsor will be extolled 4000 years from now. Seinfeld and the writer Roberts are simply sucking up to their Brit-basher audience. ~~~ Two young people are getting married whose destiny is to be King and Queen of Northern Ireland amongst many other places and particularly to Reign over the six million Irish Citizens currently choosing to live in Great Britain. To my knowledge, so far; the future King Billy II has not expressed a desire to regain his 'lost' Irish territories. But he might! Meantime, better be nice to him - just in case!!

Right - for a start, according to my sister, a resident of california, you yanks are taking this wedding a lot more serious than here in England. we never heard about "Harry hunting" until she told us about it. No 2 -at the moment he is an actual helicopter rescue pilot. is that not work ? No 3 Its Got F**k all to do with anyone but the two people involved. If you don't like it don't watch. As far as I am concerned its an extra bank holiday

Speaking of a "circus act" and a "huge game of pretend"...who is more of a ridiculous figure than Seinfeld who had a TV series. He's an actor. "These aren't special people" and his opinion is no more valid than anyone else's. Huge ego doesn't make you special either. He's engaged in the same thing as the royals....fantasy and a "huge game of pretend."

And we're supposed to think Jerry Seinfeld is the paradigm of class and manners? How about Jerry's own marriage? He met his wife in a gym when she had just been married for three weeks to someone else. She immediately dumped the other guy & married Jerry... guess he had the fatter wallet. And now Jerry is lecturing on class and virtue? Give me a break.

My friend I think that low rent remark tells us a lot more about you and your upbringing than it does about an innocent young lady being made dirt of on the eve of her wedding. It is the family business. Royality dress up, and ride in carrages. They have no real job, but they have to look like they are working. In America we have the Vice President. They cut ribbon, and listen to boring speeches, and make boring speeches. They have to be really careful not to pick their nose, and if they flagulate, then a special assistant pretends that he flagulates and apologises to the Royality. It is a rough job, but I believe that an Englishman can do it. Prince Charles must be a real twit, because the Queen refuses to step down.

England can do all it wants to celebrate a marriage within their paid publicity family. Showing them off is good for tourism, so it fits the strategy. As for the rest of the world, and particularly the US, we have more important things to think about this month such as will Kobe Bryant's "fag" blast affect his royal highness in the NBA playoffs?
