President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have become so friendly that Obama actually offered to host Chelsea's upcoming wedding at the White House.
According to a report in The New York Times Friday, "When Mr. Obama learned that Chelsea Clinton had become engaged, he turned to Mrs. Clinton and asked, “Does she want a White House wedding?”"
Clinton deployed her best diplomatic skills, honed from a lifetime in politics and declined the offer.
She said it was “sweet” of Obama to offer but would be “inappropriate.”
Darn. That would have made for great photographs - the Clintons back in the White House!

Not audacity of hope but audacity of a dope. Given the security of the White House parties, Hilla the Hun was probably more concerned with "wedding crashers" !

It was a nice gesture, but a proper decline.

Obama thinks it's his house, it's not. It would be ok if one of his daughters was old enough to get married to have a white house wedding but to offer it anyone else is arrogant and like Clinton said inappropriate. Not audacity of hope but just audacity, like nearly everything this guy does.
