Gov. David Paterson wants to round up undocumented immigrants

David Paterson is an unqualified disaster who should never have got within an ass' roar of the governorship of America's most-important state.
Here is what he had to say on immigration during an appearance on the "John Gambling Show" yesterday.
"There's a difference between illegal aliens and illegal permanent residents. Illegal aliens obviously shouldn't be here," he told the caller. "And the only time that we aren't as aggressive in trying to find illegal aliens is when it's a health care issue."
"Illegal permanent residents" is, of course, an oxymoron -- and Paterson is the latter part of that word for even uttering it. But wait, it gets worse.
"If you know any illegal aliens that are here that shouldn't be here, then the important thing is to report it to the INS and lets get moving so that we reduce that number," said the governor.
Sure, David. Why don't you lead the round-up? Let's ship 'em all back home -- all 12 million or so of them -- a totally practical suggestion.
We should be counting the days until November.

Who put David Patterson in office to begin with? Obviously the voters thought he was wonderful and he landed himself a spot on the ticket as Lt. Governor to that "Kinky" governor. So don't complain...don't you realize Lt. Governors can become governor? You get what you deserve.....They both came from a party who could care less about values, ethics, morals and what is good for America!

Stop a pathway to citizenship for the illegal aliens. That is amnesty! They go home and get on the line to enter legally. Send all the illegal aliens home and our weakest employable countrymen can get their jobs back at fair wages.

Hey Roberts ever hear of Rule of Law. About the only thing in your supposed journalistic writing that is true is '"Illegal permanent residents" is, of course, an oxymoron".

I don't have a problem with people wanting to immigrate to the U.S. What I have an issue with is the "illegal" part of this issue. HELLO! ILLEGAL! The word means NOT LEGAL. Meaning they are doing something against the law. Until they get proper papers to be here, send them home! Other countries to it, why shouldn't we?

some people might not like this idea but it is better than giving them so9cial security and medicare paid for us the taxpayers. It would have its cost but if you or I went to any other country illegaly we would wind up in prison before we could blink and not be givfen documents in english

The legal, factual term is: "Illegal aliens"
Of course if you refer to them as illegal aliens, you are instantly branded as the type that likes to drown puppies and stomp the life out of shamrocks.

We congratulate Paterson for his stand. The US would be much better off if the illegals were shipped out and stopped draining the country of its taxes. How can anyone speak of the rights of illegals when they have no right to be here in the first place!

I understand why people want to come. But, I'm all about doing it the right way. As a tax payer in the state of NJ. Illegal aliens get social services that our taxes pay for. I have no problem with the people who come here and want to be come citizens. But I am tired of people coming here making money here, not becoming citizens and the going back to "their" countries and living off my hard earned money.
