As a Tea Party member, I support Cain. I do not watch TV, and was not aware that he was Black. I like his ideas. Less government, and more freedom. It is interesting to note that he is Black, but no more then a footnote to me.

As a retired 66 year old {Wife deceased)I cannot comprehend anyone leaning on a bigotted racist like Limbaugh(or Cunningham} for truth and honesty.BTW a successful family as yours appears to be is a claim to fame but you know that already.

Seanomelbourne, you miss the point. First off, the interviewer’s name was O’Donnell, not McDonnell. Anyway, his question concerned TWO periods in time. One was the Rosa Parks bus incident, which happened in the 1950s. The other was the CRM, which was sparked by the Parks incident, but did not really get started until the 1960s. Mr. Cain was in HS in the 1950s, and in college in the 1960s. Mr. Cain answered his question. It’s just people like yourself that fail to hear it correctly. That’s all I am saying. I guess you have not heard that O’Donnell is in serious hot water for asking the question in the first place. Would he have asked that question of a WHITE candidate? As for my claim to fame, I have none. I am 70 years-old, have been married to the same woman for 45 years, have one child who heads her own company, am retired from the US Army (23 years – 1959-1982), am retired from the state of Georgia (GBI), am retired from United Technologies Corp, and am now on Social Security. So, unlike you, I have done nothing with my life; sorry!

I am well aware of Rosa and I remember the incident very well.Cain lied about his whereabouts during the sixties stating he was in high school when in fact he was a college student. Mc Donnell caught him out on a lie.You are so blinded by your extreme right wing views the truth doe's not matter to you.You can twist and squirm like the worm you are, at least pretend to be "fair and balanced". To quote Limbo is amusing considering the racist bigot he is.BTW I have three very successful adult children all professionals and university educated.Whats your claim to fame. You need to get out more and see some of the world it may make you less meanspirited.I was around when Rosa made her stand where were you? hiding in some corner like your lovechild Cain.

I am beginning to see that seanomelbourne really does not understand much of what goes on around him. Let me try to explain this Cain “lying” thingy. What you heard was a conversation about two separate things. One was the Civil Rights Movement and the other was about Rosa Parks. Mr. Cain was asked where he thought black people would be sitting on the bus today if Rosa Parks had followed Mr. Cain’s father’s advise. The question concerned Rosa Parks sitting on a bus in December 1955. While the Civil Rights Movement began in 1954, it did not really take off until the early 1960s, and ran until 1968. So, Mr. Cain was not lying because he really was in high school at the time Mrs. Parks got on that bus in 1955. Now, here’s something else I’ll bet you did not know. Mr. O’Donnell, the person who conducted that contentious interview, is in a lot of hot water about the way it was conducted. The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The New York Times, MSNBC, and even Rush Limbaugh have come out against the interview. To help defend his case, Mr. O’Donnell resorted to calling in Al Sharpton, and surprise, surprise, Sharpton sided with O’Donnell. Come on seanomelbourne, if all you can think to say is that MR. Cain is an Uncle Tom with no guts, then I strongly suggest you crawl back under your rock and please, please, do not attempt to breed any offspring.

Mr Cain claimed he was in high school during the civil rights marches. In fact he attende university from 1963 to 1967 is that not a lie.He was probably cowering in his dorm singing "massa in the cold cold clay" like agood little uncle tom. No guts no glory.

Okay “seanomelbourne”, shows us where Cain was caught lying. Have you even read his book? Can you even read? Perhaps you are one of those misguided creatures that get their opinions from CNN and MSNBC? You probably watched the interview that MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell did with Mr. Cain, where he asked him about comments in his book about his participation in the Civil Rights Movement. Mr. Cain took him to task and won, but you probably missed that part. I’ll bet you even missed the video FOX News had on this week that showed Mr. Cain at one of then President Bill Clinton’s Town Hall Meetings where Cain, who was CEO of Godfather’s at the time, took on Clinton on Hillarycare. That was something to see. The faster Clinton tossed figures at Cain showing his program would work, the faster Cain tossed them back showing it would not. All Clinton could do was smile and move on to someone else. Cain is for real, but I don’t believe he can win the election. I do, however, see him as a VP candidate.

Time to raise Cain. The more I see & hear him, the more I like him. Solindra, Fast & Furious, fabulous vacations...the populous is being driven to Tea Parties and "Occupy (insert local financial district)" movements. It's time for the "Hermanator!"

Herman Cain was caught lying. His biography tries to rewrite his past to make him more acceptable as a candidate."If you lost your house and your job tough",that's his mantra.He's another wall street groveller the ultimate uncle tom who hid when better men than him were fighting for equality.

Herman Cain will lose his surging if he doesn't make his program for attacking illegal immigration more specific. His comment: " We already have a program for a pathway to citizenship" is confusing to those of us who want no pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. Does he mean our legal pathway of getting on line and applying for citizenship, or does he mean a pathway for the illegal aliens in the country?
