Yep, that's right. Bono may be many things to all people but he'll never make a journalist.
The U2 singer popped up on CNN recently with an alleged "interview" of George Clooney
and it was a cringe fest.
Clooney had a lot of stuff to say but Bono wasn't listening.
In fact, he made the same basic mistake novice reporters make.
He did not listen to his interviewee.
And this from a man who's been interviewed hundreds if not thousands of times.
Maybe that was the problem. Bono's too used to being in front of the microphone, not holding it.
Given Clooney's extensive Irish roots, I'd hoped for something interesting but all we got was Bono.
