Isn't this a great picture?

The satellite image shows the big freeze over Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.

England, Scotland and Wales are almost entirely frozen while you can see the southwest of Ireland is showing some green.

The picture was taken by Nasa's Terra satellite on January 7.

Looks like a severe case of global warming to me. Why hasn't "Chicken Little" Environmental Minister John Gormley been beaten to death yet? In the early days of the Free State, Minister for Justice Kevin O'Higgins was shot for a whole lot less "crimes against the Irish people" (according to the "irregulars".
