During this most holy of times for Christianity, when many are thoughtful and reverent of the true meaning of Easter, the left seems bent on insulting Christians all over the world with utter disrespect for their beliefs.

The not so subtle assault on traditions can be seen by the use of "Spring Spheres" in lieu of Easter Eggs, to Lady Gagas just released song titled "Judas", to "hunky Jesus" contests.

Gagas song is filled with lyrics that would make it repugnant to anyone of Christian belief. But doubly offensive when it is released at this most holy time of year.

Some excerpts from her song:

"I'm just a holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel / But I'm still in love with Judas, baby." "Jesus is my virtue," but "Judas is the demon that I cling to." "In the most biblical sense, I am beyond repentance / Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind."

Lady Gaga's spokesmen said a video for the "Judas" song will be released on Easter Sunday. For maximum effect, she will be posing as Mary Magdalene. She is quoted as saying: "I feel like honestly that God sent me those lyrics and that melody...There's no way for something that pure to be wrong."

According to Brent Bozell of Media research center: "The Borgias," the new Showtime miniseries that dwells playfully on an adulterous, murderous pope" can be shown. Yet by contrast, Showtime had too much reverence for the Kennedy family, the darlings of the left, to accept the miniseries "The Kennedys." New York Times TV critic Alessandra Stanley joked, "Fortunately for Showtime, there don't seem to be any thin-skinned Borgia descendants with powerful friends who can lobby network executives."

From Lady Gaga, to Hollywood, to San Francisco, where the drag queens known as "Sisters of Perpetual Motion" will hold a "Hunky Jesus" contest on Easter, there is an assault on family/Christian values going on.

Interesting though that these "avante garde" artists, can mock Christianity without fear of repercussion. We have yet to see a movie,video, song, or contest from any of them that mocks the Muslim religion during one of their holiest of holy events. Will we be seeing a "Hunky Mohammed" contest around Ramadan time? I doubt it.

This just in from the Huffungton Post: Andres Serrano's Controversial Photograph 'Piss Christ' has been destroyed by "vandals" while on display in France. The controversial artist and hero of the left wasn't available for comment

Well, Gearoid4, I guess you were right. Can't believe I hadn't heard of it. It happened in Feb. and the anti abortion group, Live Action, sent undercover "pimps" and "prostitutes" into 6 to 10 PP offices. They showed 2 of their videos and the woman working at the New Jersey location was fired by PP. PP said that the woman's actions were "completely inexplicable and inconsistent with what PP does." The videos had been edited and the complete videos and all the other videos have not been shown. Fearing that these pimps were indeed involving under age girls as prostitutes, PP repored the visits by the undercover pimps to federal authorities and the FBI is looking into it. Make up your own mind.

I'm glad to know Joan, that you are aware of some women that PP have helped without any abortions being performed. But according to PP's own figures, they performed 332,278 surgical abortions or abortions using the dangerous RU 486 method. This works out at around 25% of the 1.3 million abortions that occurred nationally in the US for that year. The PP certainly have a selfish interest in the promotion of abortion which is so lucrative for them.

Gearoid4, I never heard of that particular sting and until I have proof, I won't believe it. On the other hand, there are a few rotten apples in every barrel. Thank God the Democrats stood up for PP. They do a lot of good work. I've never had to use them, but I know women who have and they didn't have abortions. They were poor and that's where they got their pap smears and mammograms. They aren't poor now so they don't have to use PP, but they were very thankful that PP could help them when they needed them.

I think that you may be mistaken, Joan. The Planned Parenthood organisation was on the wrong end of a number of stings which exposed their willingness to promote abortion in all situations however reprehensible. Two anti-abortion activists in undercover roles in New Jersey, were advised by a PP employee on how to obtain birth control and abortions for under 14 and 15 yr old girls. They were also referred to another clinic which carried out such abortions. Consequently a bid was made to defund this insidious organisation in both houses but unfortunately it failed in the Senate due to it being under the control of the democrats.

Joan: PP is taxpayer supported. PP turns around and takes those same funds and gives them to democrats for their election campaigns and to lobbyists....I was thinking your handle was axis so I mentioned the axis leaders favorite composer who is Wagner and his fav. song which is Valkyrie. It was my pathetic attempt at humor which I see is going down in flames faster than a me-109(German fighter aircraft)

No, Monsoonman, I don't understand what you're talking about. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just don't understand how money is being laundered through pp and funneled into Dems. pockets. joan....axis? Do I hear Vagner playing in the background, perhaps I hear "Flight of the Valkyrie" But what is so hard to understand about taxpayer money being laundered through planned parenthood and funneled right into democrats pockets? Wasn't it clear enough?

Since we have resident experts on Planned parenthood here. What do you think of our 75 mill. of our tax money going to this organization which turns around and puts it into the pockets of the democrat party? Is that very fair? Here are the facts.: 2010 pp spent: 700K for lobbyists (our money) 650K to federal candidates(our money) Almost 1 million in indepndent expenditures, almost exclusively to democrats (our money). How much more corrupt do you want to get?

Gearoid4, Get your facts straight. It wasn't Planned Parenthood where the "pimp" went undercover to expose what your saying. For the life of me, I can't remember the organization's name right now - senior moment, I guess. Here are some facts for you. Abortions are legal. PP does handle abortions. About 3% of it's services are abortions. It is illegal for any federal money to go toward abortions, PP's abortions are funded by donations. PP provides many wonderful programs for women, esp. poor women. PP provides mammos, BIRTH CONTROL,and other important screenings. You might not believe in abortions and that is your right, but don't disparage a great organization that does a lot of good and helps women prevent having abortions. Just my opinion.

@Katielady, I do not know what branch of Planned Parenthood that you worked at. But it is clear that they provide the biggest share of abortion services in the USA. They have been exposed in a couple of recent stings and one of the stings demonstrated that they were more than ready to provide advice to pimps to abort children that their underage prostitutes may be carrying. It is outrageous and shows the depth of depravity of the abortion industry.
