Should America Revert to its 1733 Borders?

There is talk circulating in diplomatic halls after President Obamas speech demanding Israel retreat to it's 1967 borders. The whispers are that America should set the example and revert back to its original 13 colonies borders of 1733.

After all fair is fair. Spain, France, Mexico, Russia and most of the tribes of native Americans are starting to coalesce around this idea. There is talk of a UN resolution being sponsored by Iran on behalf of those exploited by the Americans.

For those of you who attended public school and didn't get a chance to learn about this part of American history, the original American settlement was comprised of only 13 colonies. These colonies were established by the British and were comprised of mostly white Americans and according to the politically correct version of todays history lens, their main goal was to exploit native Americans, enslave blacks working on the grand plantations and not allow their womenfolk to vote, to put it in a pc nutshell. In reality the new migrants to America were of European extraction looking to start a new life in the rugged frontier, free from the tyranny of living under repressive governments.

But through warfare, chicanery, financial skulduggery, exploitation of natural resources and native peoples, Americans threw off the redcoats and commenced to expand its borders under the holy, almost God sounding mandate of "manifest destiny". Americans also used the catchphrase of "defensible borders" to justify its expansion into "other peoples land".

Finally Americas borders reached from sea to shining sea, to the present Canadian and Mexican borders and we clipped off part of Russia and grabbed an island in the mid pacific to top it off.

The USA only stopped its north and south expansions at Mexico and Canada because there were still plenty of whales in the oceans for the oil in our street lamps, so there wasn't much to exploit past the borders at that time. Petroleum wasn't recognized as a commodity...But recently the calls of "manifest destiny" have started to rumble after oil hit 100 dollars per barrel and eyes are on Canadas oil fields.

Israel is a tiny country surrounded by enemies that want to see it annihilated. It had to expand beyond its 67 borders due to warfare and belligerency from its neighbors. Many of those neighbors don't even recognize Israels right to exist. By demanding that Israel revert to its 67 borders, President obama is issuing a death sentence to the nation.

So Mr. President, examine closely the beginnings of most countries around the world and you will see they have had border changes over the ages. Many of these changes were brought about by war and conquest, a nations quest for survival. Take a look at your own county and how it expanded. Judge not, therefore ye be judged.

George Dillon-Some would say that 'turnabout is fair play'. I seem to remember the constant bashing of President Bush by all the lame stream media. And interestingly enough, President Bush did not shrink from it and in fact pointed to the Constitution and free speech when he was repeatedly asked about it. And yet Obama unable to take the criticism, tried and continues through Media Matters and George Soros to try and close down Fox and any newspaper (remember 3 weeks ago that Boston newspaper that actually is liberal) that doesn't report the news to his liking. He also through a Czar appointment wants to control speech through 'net neutrality'. Obama is so thin skinned, so unable to take it many refer to him as the Baby Obama. Unfortunately for us all undisciplined immature babies usually reek havoc on the adults around them.

It's quite disgusting to hear Hannity disrespect the elected leader of the United States and fawn over a foreign crook (Netanyahu is a known crook). Hannity's loyalty to a foreign country, in preference to his own, is treason. Hannity, you're just a loudmouth traitor. Go live in Israel, you goon.

Oh? Didn't hear it from Hannity heard it right out of the cnn tawking heads program. Seems Ed Schultz and rachel maddow didn't rate the speech, probably figured their kook fringe viewers wouldn't want to hear the truth.

Yes Israel be proud. Your Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to the United States Congress and was greeted with 29 standing ovations and bursts of applause and support throughout his speech. Even Harry Reid head of the Senate and obama stooge, pledged his unwavering support for Israel. A total repudiation of the community organizers attempt at bullying you by blindsiding you and demanding you move to 67 borders when you arrived in DC. Obama should be arrested for violating the anti-bullying laws he keeps telling everyone else they should abide by.

I see.. So, Spain, and it's Latin American conquest, and that includes Mexico, which created the trans-Atlantic slave trade and brought to Latin America more than 8 million African slaves, and worked virtually all of them to death, after committing genocide against the indigenous peoples of those lands, want to have a discussion? Is Spain and Mexiho claiming the US 'stole' the US southwest from them? That land, belonged to the indigenous peoples of the southwestern US. Spaniards, or as they like to refer to themselves as Hispanic, when not hiding behind the lie of "Latino", are not indigenous. They also enslaved indigenous people, including the Utes, Apache and Navajo, forced them to work in the mines, the fields and as other types of labor. They raped and brutalized their women and children, and if one sought to defend themselves or loved ones, or escape, they would be brutally punished, a heel or foot would be chopped off, or they would be shot.
