Hugely popular Irish American journalist, Sean Hannity, keeps hammering away at what he sees the left is doing to America. From out of control spending, to directionless foreign policy, to dubious vetting of the President, the pugnacious Mr. Hannity doesn't back down.
He proclaimed that American journalism died during the 08 election, which saw Barack Obama win the Presidency. Hannity has claimed that Obama received a free ride from the rest of the media when it came to many of his past relationships with dubious individuals. He has brought to light a questionable business deal with Obamas long time associate, slum landlord and convicted felon, Syrian financier Tony Rezko.
On the Hannity show last night, Donald Trump claimed he has done hundreds of business deals in which he has and will will receive massive scrutiny from the media, especially if he runs for President. But he says the one real estate deal Obama did with Rezko, had many strange and puzzling aspects about it and should have been investigated by the media, but never was.
Never one to back down from his beliefs, Sean Hannity again brought up Obamas close association with Reverend Wright in which he was a member of Wrights Black Liberation Church for 20 years. Some of Wrights incendiary remarks included " Godd**n Amerikkka" soon after 911 occurred.
Sean Hannity was also instrumental in bringing up the fact that Obama had a close relationship with Bill Ayers, the convicted terrorist who set bombs off all over America. Those bombs caused damage to institutions, terror to the American public and some claim, his bombs caused death. Trump said during the interview, he is almost certain Bill Ayers was the ghost writer for Obamas first popular book, "Dreams From My Father".

Mr. Hannity revealed that his network and bosses received strong pressure on them to rein him in during the Presidential elections. His network rejected the pressure and Sean continues on with his role as spearhead of the new 4th Estate, doing what the media is supposed to do, expose corruption and question the leaders.

Caramia..I second monsoon's comment, beautiful name. Hang in there. On this Hannity blog there are more obama suck ups than usual but that is par for the course for any and all blogs with Palin, O'Reilly, Fow News or Ovomit as the subject. Let them know what you think. There are many that think as you do. Some posting problems come from the liberal IC watchdogs and some come from the other posters who use the "report abuse" to silence opinions they don't agree with. Yes this is very cowardly but what can you expect from liberal progressives, socialists and the like.

McNamara31 nailed it. Hannity is following other Irish-American rabble rousers like Father Charles Coughlin in the 1930s and Senator Joe McCarthy in the 1950s. He and that other smug phoney, Bill O' Reilly, appeal to the worst instincts of people and he is indeed a disgrace to all the Irish who fought for social justice in this country. The right-wing religious nut type Republicans that he provides a forum for on his program, of course, behind his back, laugh at this Irish-American fool. He is the farthest thing from a journalist as you can find, and Farnan's comment about Hannity being a member of the fourth estate exposing corruption and questioning leaders is laughable; Hannity is a Republican sycophant who is misleading the ignorant and he is laughing all the way to the bank.

Ciarrai, unfortunately for you and Rachell Maddow, there are obviously more of us dumb ones than there are of you smart ones.

Caramia...Love that name. Don't be discouraged with the posting, you have to get used to it. Keep your posts shorter and don't cut and paste anything and usually they go through. You should drop ic a note and let them know you are having a problem too, they might be able to adjust their setting. I had the same problem several months back but now most of my posts go through...Oh and BTW, there are a LOT of conservative Irish around who don't drink the liberal Kool Aid. they are our misguided brethren who need to see the light.

At the top of this comment "frame",is the question, "What do you think about this?" Actually, not much. I wrote a thoughtful post, showing some support for Mr. Hannity, and saying (gasp!!) that Barack Obama is NOT necessarily America's "Saviour". And you wouldn't post my comment. I've only subscribed to your publication for a month or so, but now, to answer the "what do you think?" question, judging from the published comments below, I think now, I understand.

Hannity is a disgrace to all things Irish. He can coldly smirk into the camera, night after night, with his talking points and lie to the American public, all the while making the big bucks to do so. His Irish ancestors would quickly disown him and "kick him to the curb" with the other garbage.

Wrestling shows have ratings. The news shouldn't.

Hannity is NOT a real journalist (and clearly yer not as well!). Real journalists don't pick sides. Hannity is simply a tool of the treasonous GOP and its rank-and-file of self-loathing closet cases, a propagandist who is poisoning the political discourse in America.

Hannity represents the "new 4th Estate"? Correction: Hannity's a loud right-wing mouth-piece pretending to be a journalist. He maybe you fellow brownshirt traveler, Farnan, but Hannity has yet to have ever reported anything objectively. Everything is colored by fat his Rupert Murdock paycheck. and thus everything is fear-mongering, fascist spin with this guy.

That Hannity has higher ratings than Rachel Maddow speaks volumes about the people who watch Fox. Rachel Maddow is the smartest person on tv. However, Lawrence O'Donnell kicks everyone's arse.

Sean Hannity is just as big a blowhard as Donald Trump is. And speaking of Trump, American voters should demand a birth certificate for that thing on Trump's head.
