Hugely popular Irish American journalist, Sean Hannity, keeps hammering away at what he sees the left is doing to America. From out of control spending, to directionless foreign policy, to dubious vetting of the President, the pugnacious Mr. Hannity doesn't back down.

He proclaimed that American journalism died during the 08 election, which saw Barack Obama win the Presidency. Hannity has claimed that Obama received a free ride from the rest of the media when it came to many of his past relationships with dubious individuals. He has brought to light a questionable business deal with Obamas long time associate, slum landlord and convicted felon, Syrian financier Tony Rezko.

On the Hannity show last night, Donald Trump claimed he has done hundreds of business deals in which he has and will will receive massive scrutiny from the media, especially if he runs for President. But he says the one real estate deal Obama did with Rezko, had many strange and puzzling aspects about it and should have been investigated by the media, but never was.

Never one to back down from his beliefs, Sean Hannity again brought up Obamas close association with Reverend Wright in which he was a member of Wrights Black Liberation Church for 20 years. Some of Wrights incendiary remarks included " Godd**n Amerikkka" soon after 911 occurred.

Sean Hannity was also instrumental in bringing up the fact that Obama had a close relationship with Bill Ayers, the convicted terrorist who set bombs off all over America. Those bombs caused damage to institutions, terror to the American public and some claim, his bombs caused death. Trump said during the interview, he is almost certain Bill Ayers was the ghost writer for Obamas first popular book, "Dreams From My Father".

Mr. Hannity revealed that his network and bosses received strong pressure on them to rein him in during the Presidential elections. His network rejected the pressure and Sean continues on with his role as spearhead of the new 4th Estate, doing what the media is supposed to do, expose corruption and question the leaders.

He certainly didn't back down when he promised to be waterboarded for charity and then changed his mind. No amount of pressure would budge him to keep his original promise.
Hannity has the intelligence of a sand flea...Do you recall when this moron interviewed captain Scott O'Grady after O'Grady was shot down in Bosnia? Hannity to O'Grady: "What carrier were you flying off of?" O'Grady was in the USAF--not a navel aviator, nor a Doolittle Tokio Raider. O'Grady was flying out of Italy from an airbase...
Jeese, in the 1st paragraph, change the words "the left" to "the right" and you've just described the Bush presidency.
Remember this ancient wisdom (ancient since 1887, when Captain Thomas Baldwin invented one)..."A mind, like a parachute, never works until it's opened".
I agree caramia an open mind makes for healthy debate.
And yes, everyone is entitled to their point of view. That's what makes this country great. But just because we disagree, it doesn't mean you're right and i'm wrong, or vice versa. Sometimes a civil, thoughtful discussion can enlighten one party or another. The polarization I speak of is that differing opinions these days have no interest in listening to any opinion other than their own. I'm not stupid enough to think I know everything. I learn something new every day of my life.
I do admit, seanomelbourne, that the tea party is part of it, as well as the dems and the GOP. There used to be a time when there conservative dems, and liberal repubs. Compromise could be reached on any issue most of the time. For the last decade, it has become "the far right" or "the far left", with very little middle ground on which to start a discussion. I am a registered independent. I am "socially" liberal, "fiscally" conservative. Am just as pissed at the GOP's freewheeling spending practices as at the Dems. I have NEVER voted a "straight" ticket, Dem or Repub. I vote each issue, each race independently. The total deadlock in DC is what breaks my heart when there are such serious issues to be dealt with, instead of political mudslinging. I want to be queen... Just for a day!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Caramia everyone is entitled to their point of view.If the polarisation breaks your heart at least be honest enough to say that the tea party is part of that polarisation.Maybe "polarisation" is not an apt word to use. After all if your anti Liberal stance is not polarizing what do you mean??
caramia...when you hit the comment button your post will appear for a short time then go away for the powers to review. Then anywhere from 20 min. to 2 or 3 hrs. it will show back up for good unless one of the crybabies get you with the report abuse in the upper right corner of the post. Most of the time there are no problems. Your insight into American politics is right on in my book. The problem is both sides with a lesser of the evils factor as well as the freshmen who usually get rapidly co-opted. The sides are so far apart there isn't much room for getting along in DC or on IC. Then you have people on IC from everywhere giving a world view (liberal).
Thank you, maloney. I honestly enjoy thoughtful discussion. If we never listened to opposing viewpoints, how would we learn and grow? It's the name-calling and verbal flame-throwing that seem useless to me. Maybe some of these liberals can explain to me why they are always so ANGRY? Do you hate what you fear? Or what you simply don't understand? Personally, I believe every incumbent in Congress, Dem or Rep, should be voted out.All are too comfortable in DC. It's time to start over.
Thanx for the complement seano. caramia..post often and do not fear. The jousting on IC can be down right funny. There are many to protect you if the bullies push to hard. Don't believe the extreme right wing devil stuff but you may run across a few violence prone libertarians. LOL You are what America is all about. Be proud of what you are and stand for!!
So, someone keeps deleting my posts. they appear, then disappear. My mistake to think an intelligent, adult discussion was possible..... Too bad.
The political polarization in our country at the moment breaks my heart. This is not how it has always been. The Tea Party, if nothing else, has caused Americans to THINK. The conservatives in this country, whether Democrat (yes, there are CONSERVATIVE Democrats out there who I admire) or Republican, must stop the govt's out-of-control spending NOW. We have no EU to bail us out. I am forever optimistic as long as we have an array of voices and opinions out there, where, if they talk long enough, the truth WILL come out. Being of Irish ancestry (great grandparents immigrated from Ireland in early 1800's), I'm happy to see that the whole country isn't flaming liberal. I was thinking it might just be a European "thing"....
I am not a radical right wing conservative. I'm just a hard working American, who believes that I should be able to keep some of the money I earn, raise my children the way I see fit, live in the house I choose, drive the car I choose, eat and drink what I choose, without the government dictating those things to me. Our country was founded on the principle of freedom, and those freedoms are being, little by little, taken away from us. Many Americans agree with me, ie: our 2010 mid-term elections. I welcome opposing viewpoints other than what is in the White House at the moment. Freedom of Speech, ever hear of it? I admire anyone who has the courage to speak out, be it Sean Hannity or anyone else.
Be careful Caramia you may be dancing with the extreme right wing devils.
