President Obama’s naive foreign policy unravels as a “tiny country” threatens us with nukes.

Four years ago a newly minted President Obama assured us we had very little to fear in his new world of foreign policy. There was no longer a Soviet Union that could threaten our very existence and besides, as a Nobel Peace Prize winner he had the moral authority to reset our foreign policy….to make America loved, rather than feared. Unlike it had been during the Bush administration.

He proclaimed that Iran, Cuba and North Korea were tiny countries and wouldn't be able to resist his charm offensive coupled with a beer summit.

In order to show the utmost self confidence in his ability to change the world, President Obama acquiesced to the Russians and didn’t install planned anti missile defenses in Eastern Europe aimed at incoming missiles from Iran. He also cancelled/delayed planned deployment of anti missile shields on our own soil leaving us wide open and unprotected

But after over 4 years of the Obama foreign policy/charm offensive, the administration is feverishly trying to deploy the very missile shields it cancelled 4 years ago. These shields were designed to thwart incoming nuke missiles from the tiny country of North Korea. 14 anti missile batteries are being rushed into place in Alaska, along with other measures previously rejected by Obama in other parts of the world

Four years of dithering and charm offensive have let Iran and North Korea go forward virtually unchecked in their nuclear ambitions. Now those chickens are starting to come home to roost. Last week North Korea cancelled the armistice it had with South Korea and declared their right to launch a preemptive nuclear strike on the US in retaliation for new sanctions imposed on them.

North Korea has already thumbed its nose at Obama by conducting underground nuclear explosions and successfully launched a missile capable of striking the US….All of this in the face of “stern” threats from the paper tiger Obama administration.

Ominously, in the other tiny country of Iran, the acquisition of much faster centrifuges will speed up the time it takes to get them enough enriched uranium for nuclear weapons…again all of this in the face of “stern” threats and trade sanctions from the Obama administration.

Buried in the press a few months back was the report that Iran had suffered an accident at one of their nuclear sites. The accident killed several of their scientists, but reportedly killed a few North Korean scientists as well.

President Obama: Today even tiny nuclear armed countries can have the ability to ruin our day, not by just lobbing nuclear missiles at us, but by spreading those weapons to terrorists and other rogue, tiny countries around the world. It’s time you take the rose colored glasses off. In this world it is far better and safer to be feared and respected, rather than trying to be liked.

Theres very little if any coverage on Syria here so whats happening or reasons are very vague.It could be compared to Europe getting full coverage on Israel where US dont.Theres a lot of questions regarding, Ghadaffi , regarding a conspiracy or something very rotten. It seems he may have know to much on International events during the 80,s and was set up.Regarding Afghanistan ,the Taliban & Bin Laden etc needed to be seen too as there was no freedom under their draconian Religous Govt and laws. Their abuses against their own cannot be questioned. Saddam Hussain attrocities against Shiates ,Kurds and any suspected opposition needed to be stopped. However These people were betrayed in the first gulf war by US and Britain as they were encouraged to revolt but then left .I dont know why Saddam Hussain was left to reign for so many years after 1991.Britain arming the Jihadist rebels is total hypocracy similar to their support for PolPot in Cambodia. Theres a lot going on that is above us but theres a major threat from Islamic aspirations for forcing their evil false Religion/rule world wide. Theres the Israeli attrocities gaining support for Islamic propoganda so theres an possible upcoming uncontrollable crisis. If Israel werent of strategic importance I suspect these events wouldnt have occured. If Britain hadent supported the Zionist formation in 1900,s may be there wouldnt have been a problem.Especially since 1947 on Israel has had constant conflict with its Arab neighbours. i dont know any more,loony tunes countries like n.korea,and iran,need a firm hand but us policy of the last 50 years have been disgusting in the invasions deaths and carnage caused,and now we have SYRIA,two years ago the majority of people went about their normal lifes,everyone mostly got on and the freedoms enjoyed there were a lot more liberal than those of our fundamentalist sharia promoting monarchist allies.now along with iraq who had similar freedoms,libya,and afganistan all in rubble,death destruction ,infrastructures destroyed,millions dead and maimed,so if obama tried a different approach,it had to be better,i dont see how anyone could describe american policy and military adventures as a success story,but cynically you could argue its kept their arnament structure up and running.now britain wants to arm the so called rebels who are only jihadists who wish to dep[ose the aminority,and probably slaughter them when they win,and impoe a strict fundamentalist sharia style theocracy,surely we dont want to impose that on what was a secular state,anything but sharia.dont think those jihadists fighting with the rebels will accept less,and why is SYRIA wrong in defending itself from outside intrusion,its because she is an ally of iran,it stinks politically.

@Kerry214.I believe if you do some research on North Korea you may see sense.Their horrific brutality against its own People and no affirmative action.??. Its similar to the Allies in WW2 knowing &ignoring of Nazi death camps Industrial targets were more important plus they never knew the World would discover this fact. Its known of North Korea's camps plus China,s indifference to that living child God Ping-pongs Nuclear ambitions. They are a major threat and Obama's lack of foresight into these small country,s capabilities speaks volumes.China and Russia prob convinced Obama these countries are only capable of throwing hand grenades lol. Seriously they prob pledged to keep them in check .Thats not the case though
