Last night at the Vice Presidential debate in Kentucky, the nation got to witness the last vestiges of dignity get stripped away from the office of Vice President. This administration’s all out quest to remain in power saw truth and dignity sacrificed for that goal.
Joe Biden’s conjured up inner outrage lead to a spectacle on stage never duplicated in past debates of this magnitude. Smiling bizarrely while the conversation centered on our soldiers being killed in Afghanistan, Biden even laughed out loud ( insanely?) while the conversation shifted to the possibility of a nuclear armed Iran. Joe was seen by many as a deranged and cranky old man last night.
But one positive aspect for “green energy” emerged. Many folks in the alternative energy business thought Joes expensive teeth could be a new found source to power solar panels, as he flashed them constantly and inappropriately last night.
The only ones who seem to roar with approval are the far left, who were looking for blood after Mitt Romney dismantled President Obama in last weeks debate. But Romney, unlike Biden, did his work without rudely and thuggishly butting in while the President was talking.
Instead of battling Paul Ryan using ideas and truth, Biden was like Stephen King’s Pennywise the clown armed with a crude club. Biden interrupted Ryan in mid sentence 82 times and even butted into the moderator mid sentence several times for good measure.
Biden was able to get away with many complete and false statements yesterday with the aid of the moderator, who cut off Ryan's responses before he could rebut a Biden falsehood….. Of course Joes own thuggish behavior made it difficult to complete a thought.
What is left today is a bucket full of fact checks that show Joe had an utter disregard for the truth, ranging from the Libyan embassy scandal to Medicare, to Iran and our relations with Israel.
Today many women were expressing their disappointment in the Vice Presidents demeanor last night. To them he appeared to be a bully, especially when he pointed his finger at the moderator and lectured her. Some women said Biden reminded them of ex boyfriends who wouldn’t take no for an answer. Or more ominously, the type of overbearing man they would fear to work around.
The left was cheered by this spectacle and feel vindicated, however we are quickly losing the ability to have an honest debate in this country, if last night is an example of our present discourse.
At this rate, we will be choosing candidates for their gladiatorial skills, rather than their oratorical skills.

Some of you folks think the deranged VP Bidens performance at his debate was something to be proud of. Most normal people know it for what it is, a crude degradation of the office of the VP. Plus yr scrambling around to find someone to blame for your messiah's mideast disaster, saying it's republicans cutting back on the budget...Remember Obama hasn't had a budget for the past 3 years...Never in the history of our country have we had such an incompetent in the WH

The thing about claiming the lack of ability to be unbiased is almost funny when you are being biased yourself Ed. Romney and Ryan sought to make cheap political points by bringing up Ben Ghazi when it was Repiblicans who voted to cut the budget by nearly 300 million ( 264 million) for embassy security and improvements world wide. Ryan lied about the panel for the Affordable Care Act would not include any medical professionals, not true, it will have to include physicans and other health care professionals. Ryan lied when he claimed the Affordable Care Act funded abortions, NOT true. Ryan lied when he said the administration spent stimulus money on electric cars in Finland, that money spent was for work in the US. Ryan was critical of the stimulus money and yet he sought that same money for his state several times. Ryan voted against the fair pay act for women. He is opposed to abortion even in cases of rape and abortion. He wants to get rid of planned parenthood. He supports legislation to criminalize some kinds of birth control. And he wants to outlaw in virto fertilization. Romney/Ryan for women? Not so much....

I believe Biden gave Ryan the derision he deserved. Ryan & Romney have conjured up a changing position on almost everything. Whenever they are challenged to produce facts, they either quote polls that their team or lackey has come up with or speak around the subject. Ryan was like a little puppy dog running away with his tail between his legs.

Lad, as I said before even msnbc, had ryan winning by 12 points. Biden is now being raked over the coals for his multitude of lies, usually the media doesn't pursue his lies but now they are it is embarrassing for the buffoon. Tax rates have been cut successfully like Ryan said..biden was wrong on that too

Biden never stated that reducing taxes had never been done. He stated that taxes had never been cut by 20% before. Is a poll only legitimate Mman when the results suit you???

Lad, hate to burst yr bubble but almost everything that came out of VP Bidens mouth at the debate has been documented as false. Starting w/his statement he "didn't vote for those wars", to his "we didn't know Benghazi had requested more security," to his "reducing tax rates has never been done." to his "we didn't cut medicare by 716 billion." He is a documented plagiarizer and liar extraordinaire, you should believe NOTHING he says...Trust me

Conjured bleeding heart outrage from IC's resident Fox spokes person. CBS gave Joe 50% of independent voters and Joe gave facts and figures not rhetoric and bull as did his opponent.

Right on - I can't stand talk shows where they just talk over each other. Those who are saying Joe won as the aggressor don't understand an exchange of ideas so we can decide who to vote for. The VP was a disgrace.
