The "hot mic" syndrome struck again when Senator
During her recent trip, Sarah Palin declared to the Indian people and the world that "it's time for a woman to be president of the USA".
India is a great backdrop for the speech since it was the first major democracy to elect a woman as it's Prime Minister. Also and just as important, it stressed that Sarah Palin and her allies regard India as a first tier friend.
After her speech she fielded many questions from the Indian press and answered their questions in a "direct and forthright way". Asked why Obama won, she quipped "I wasn't at the top of the ticket, remember?
OK I have to admit, at first I didn't see the ex in front of extremists and jumped to conclusions, thinking oh no here we go again. Then after I saw my mistake my next thought was, how are these people going to get to Ireland, they must be on everyone's no-fly list?
"The Summit Against Violent Extremism” will be held from June 26th to 29th. In the Google mold of thinking outside the box and exploring new uncharted tech frontiers, they have set their sites on wrestling with the worlds Achilles heal: Dispossessed members of society who revert to violent extremism.
Terrorism and violent extremism can be seen as the # 1 threat to mankind as we set sail into the 21st century. The world is now a starship of hi tech weaponry and WMD that can cause massive casualties to society. Once it took an army to inflict great amounts of casualties, now a single committed extremist can unleash a world of hurt on many, with the push of a button,or by opening a vial.
Citizens are fed up with runaway expenditures and want to rein them in, including taking back some of the power that public sector unions have over the states. Wisconsin and other states hired Governors and legislators to do just that when they elected conservatives into office.
Other states throughout the U.S. including Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey, Indiana, Idaho, Tennessee, Kansas and others have voted and are attempting to rein in expenses including trimming the power of public employee unions. Their backs are against the wall as they are faced with cataclysmic deficits. Although the left and their political allies would have you believe it is about union busting in general, but private sector unions are not a part of this battle.
In the conservative tidal wave that rolled through the U.S., California seemed to buck that trend. This state not only returned it's very liberal legislators, the voters even decided to vote back the very person who started California's downward spiral over 30 years ago, Governor Jerry"moonbeam" Brown....Could it be to return to the "Golden State" that he mortally wounded those many years ago and give it a final bayonet thrust?
As the nuclear meltdown unfolds, those first words uttered by the ancient Irishman, are as true today as they were those thousands of years ago....as he raised his fist to the sky saying, why!
With a shift of her foot, Mother Nature caused massive destruction to the most earthquake aware society in the world. Japan has always had major earthquakes and constructs it's buildings to the highest standards, the envy of the world when it comes to earthquake preparedness.
The nuclear reactor facilities were engineered to withstand an 8.0 on the Richter scale, that is a major major earthquake. Only problem is, the earthquake that just hit was a 9.0, a thousand times stronger than an 8.0.
The stark reality of lawlessness comes home to the citizens of Wisconsin when their lawmakers are advised to skip St. Patricks Day ceremonies. Law enforcement doesn't think they can protect the lawmakers due to death threats received.
Madison Wisconsin has been assaulted by organized crowds of out of state protesters. They filled the streets and clogged the capital building. In a coordinated move with the unions, Wisconsin Democrat legislators flew the coop in order to paralyze the lawful legislative process and let the crowds work their chaotic mischief for over 3 weeks.
There have been threats of violence, intimidation, 7.5 million dollars of vandalism, economic threats and death threats to those who carried out the mandate of the voters.
Looks like we have a new generation of conservative Irish American patriots coming to the forefront. At 26 James O'Keefe already has an impressive record in exposing corruption, bias and illegality in government funded organizations. He is the modern day version of a conservative Woodward and Bernstein.
Due to an O'Keefe undercover sting operation, yesterday saw the firing of NPR'S CEO and the firing of the organizations chief fund raiser. The expose' shook the institution to its's core after a hidden video caught the fund raiser denigrating American citizens and also showed the willingness to accept donations from a known radical Islamic group.
But this is only the latest in his expose' of wrongdoing in the government funded organization industry.
Times have been tough lately as most of us know. Difficult to find work that pays enough to get by, rents are high wages are low. So it has brought on a new phenomenon to America: "The child that never moves away from home syndrome."
As so sensitively portrayed in the Matthew McConaughey movie, "Failure to Launch", Matthew plays a thirty something lad who still lives at home with his parents. So his parents hire Sarah Jessica Parker to lure him out of their house. She specializes in recalcitrant young men who never want to leave the nest.
We Americans have the same problem with the Big Bird and the rest of his rag tag publicly funded cartoon character gang who have been squatting in our living rooms for over 40 years. They have been raiding our fridges and not doing any chores around the house. Not only do they live rent free, they make us pay....The messages they have been sending to our pre-school children over the years primes them for their public school inculcation. I think if you take a look at what public education has brought to America over the past 40 years, you will able to see a correlation between data in and product out.
In Germany when a gunman jumps on a bus crowded with unarmed American Airmen, empties his firearm into them, while shouting Allah Akbar...Would it be jumping to conclusions to assume it is an act of terrorism? Namely Islamic terrorism?
In Texas, Major Nadal Hassan calmly walked into an assembly area filled with his fellow servicemen and repeatedly emptied his weapon into his unarmed comrades killing and wounding dozens. While squeezing the trigger he could be heard to chant Allah Akbahr. Would it be jumping to conclusions to consider it had an Islamic terrorism tie in...Somewhere?
President Obama told us not to jump to conclusions about the terrorist attack in Texas. Over a year later the White House still has not been able to say this was an act of Islamic terrorism, even though there is overwhelming evidence that it was.
It seems the spontaneous protesters that show up in state capitals, splintered off and metastasized in front of the Fox News studios in New York City.
These organized knots of people all seem to have in common, besides carrying signs of our elected leaders depicted as Nazis, is their hatred of Fox news.
Besides the usual stock chants at these gatherings, it seems the second most popular mantra in all of the locations across the USA is Fox lies! Loud enough to attempt to drown out the Fox reporters and they thrust their signs in front of television cameras. One Fox News reporter in Madison was jostled and hit by the unruly crowd in an attempt to intimidate and silence him.
