Doherty Senior Ladies Ceili are British National Irish Dancing Champions - Team Results

The Doherty School of Irish Dance from the Midlands region, England/Wales claimed another 2012 British National Irish Dancing Championship title Sunday with its World Champion Senior Ladies' Ceili team.  This was the fourth 2012 British National Irish Dancing Championship title for the school, with Champions Nadine Martin in Senior Ladies, Boys under 12 Sam Goldsmith and Boys under 16 Macaulay Selwood topping their event's podiums earlier on the weekend.

Olympic athletes share performance secrets Irish dancers can use

The 2012 Summer Olympics kick off its opening ceremony July 27th in London, England! Who’s excited? Millions of course! Yahoo Sports has been posting clips of a select few of the United States of America's awesome athletes preparing for battle– I mean competitions (I have The Hunger Games on the brain!).
